Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria for Architecture colleges is that one should have passed 12 or any related diploma course and should also have taken NATA for entrance examination.

Placements & Internships : This is a 5 year course and the fourth year is complete internship where we learn the office experience and professionalism. One may or may not be paid stipend based on the work and office.

Fees & Scholarships : SVS School of Architecture, Coimbatore Fee Structure. Fees of SVS School of Architecture is INR 1,30,000 per year for government quota and 3,00,000 for management quota. Scholarships are available for Bc and Sc castes and not for Oc.

Academics & Faculty : Daily routine includes design studios and theory subjects. Concentration will be mostly on design studios every semester. Method of teaching is good as every studio will have 2-3 staffs for design. Overall experience is also quite good.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are two hostels- one for boys and another for girls. There is also a mess/ dining hall for hostelers and day scholars. Since I am a day scholar I am not aware of the hostel fee per month. There is an auditorium for conducting annual day events and graduation ceremonies. Clubs & Associations : There are vertical studios where all the students from 1st year to 5th year join together in making designs for the improvement of the college. District level sports events also happen here. Symposiums, NASA and ZONASA events are also given importance.
