The institute was established in 2000 as a private college affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. T John Institute of Pharmacy offers UG, PG, and Diploma courses in the field of Pharmacy. T John Institute of Pharmacy is located in Bangalore. It was established in 1993 and comes under the T John Group of Institutions. Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Karnataka, the institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Applications for both the courses are available on the official portal of the institute. Final admission is through counseling of candidates based on the rank that they have obtained in the entrance examination.

T John Institute of Pharmacy consists of B. Pharm which is a 4-year undergraduate program. The course involves a thorough study of drugs and medicines for a range of illnesses and deficiencies. The institute also offers D. Pharma which is a 2-year full-time diploma in Pharmacy which prepares individuals to work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists in community pharmacies, hospitals, etc.

The college offers a full-time B.Pharm course of 4 years duration to the applicants with a total intake of 100 students. Admission to B.Pharm is done based on the KCET and COMEDK UGET entrance examination. The tuition fees for B.Pharm is INR 99,000 per annum. The tuition fee for Pharm D is INR 1,75,000 per annum.

The college presently offers postgraduate course in M.Pharm (Masters in Pharmacy). T John Institute of Pharmacy offers full-time courses of 2 years duration to the applicants. The course involves a range of subjects such as Advance in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biopharmaceutics, and Pharmacokinetics, etc. The total intake of the course is 15 as per specialization. The institute also offers Pharm.D which is a professional doctorate in Pharmacy trains eligible candidates in pharmaceutical care, clinical pharmacy, and pharmacy practice

T John Institute of Pharmacy PG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, and Admission Criteria

For admission to pg programs, candidates must fulfill the eligibility requirements as prescribed by the College. All admissions are made strictly under the college rules in force at the time of admission. The M.Pharm tuition fee is INR 50,000 per annum. Candidates seeking Pharm.D admission must have passed 10+2/ PUC or equivalent with at least 40% marks in PCB/ PCM or Computer Science. The selection of the candidates is done based on their merit in CET (Only for Karnataka students).

Interested candidates can apply online for courses. The application process for both modes is prescribed below:

1. Candidates are required to visit the official website of the college and click on the “Apply Online” link.
2. The online application will require them to fill their details such as name and mobile number.
3. As soon as the student fills the above details, the screen will display a page asking for more information.
4. Now candidates have to fill personal, communication, and education details and enter the captcha.
5. Once the entire form is filled, they need to click on the “Submit” button.
6. Candidates will then be called or mailed, giving instructions on the further steps to apply for the courses, submit their documents, and also to submit the fees.
