Placements & Internships : You are expected to take up internships as a part of your curriculum at the end of your first year. The curriculum has experiential learning for fieldwork experience at the end of the semester. The placement cell at TISS is knowns for its high placement ratio. The placement cell also takes care of the internships under the internal placement cell all around the year for two years until the responsibilities are handed over to the next batch.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : TISS entrance examination for the master's programme is a three-tier process that includes TISSNET, pre-interview test and interview round. Once you clear TISSNET with the required cut off, which varies across programmes, you will proceed to the next rounds.

Fees & Scholarships : Tata Institute Of Social Sciences, [TISS] Hyderabad Fee Structure. The course fee ranges from INR 50,000 - INR 60,000 per year (depending on the programme) for the first year and around INR 40,000 for the second year. There are scholarships under the GOI-PMS scheme that are easily availed on the application for students with economic constraints.

Academics & Faculty : TISS has an immaculate curriculum and method of study for academics with more emphasis on interactive classes and assignments. Online classes have been divided into asynchronous and synchronous classes, making learning more manageable and less stressful.
