Established in 1998, TERI [The Energy and Resources Institute] is an independent globally recognized research institute in New Delhi. The University was renamed as TERI University and granted "Deemed to be University" status by the University Grants Commission and notified through the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Department of Education, Government of India, on October 5, 1999.

The university research program is mainly focused on issues of energy, environment, and sustainability.TERI research wing ensures regular interactions with researchers, scientists, and academicians from reputed organizations. TERI Courses:

With the world-class infrastructure facilities, TERI University’s curriculum is keenly focused on theory-practice connect and more than 25% of credit requirements are devoted to projects and hand-on experiences. TERI Infrastructure Facilities:

TERI University campus is a truly green campus. An aesthetically designed campus is a good example of an energy-efficient campus showcasing the concept of modern green buildings. Some of the key infrastructure facilities of the TERI are mentioned below. 

• TERI University has world-class infrastructure facilities and is spread across 80,000sq. ft. of land.
• The campus is equipped with high-end laboratories like Environmental Monitoring Laboratory, Biotechnology Laboratories, Heat Transfer Laboratory, Geoinformatics Laboratory, Combustion Laboratory, Power Systems Laboratory, Power Systems Laboratory, Solar Lighting Laboratory, Analytical and Geochemistry Laboratory.
