The Bhopal School of Social Sciences is a premier educational institution of Madhya Pradesh that was established in 1972 by the then Archibishop of Bhopal, Rev. Dr. Eugene D’souza. It is an Autonomous College which is accredited grade 'A' by NAAC. It was initially started as a college that offers Social Science and Management courses, but it diversified as it introduced more courses in Information Technology, Commerce, Physical Education, etc. The College offers two International MBAs through collaboration with Assumption University, Bangkok and Concordia College, USA.

 The College offers 40 Certificate Courses and 2 Diploma Courses along with Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses in various disciplines. The BSSS Admission is merit-based.

BSSS Placements Highlights:

BSSS Placement Cell is dedicated to placing its students in reputed companies. The Training and Placement Cell work together to improve the skills of students by organizing various seminars and workshops. They conduct Group Discussions and Mock Interviews to enhance the performance of the students. They also provide Aptitude Skills and Soft Skill Development Training.

BSSS Scholarship:

 The Scholarships are provided on a regular basis by the Government of India and Government of Madhya Pradesh. Students should check the College Notice Board for information regarding BSSS Scholarships. Students can avail only one scholarship. The students should submit the Income Certificate along with all relevant details.

• Eligible Students (minimum 80% marks in Higher Secondary) can apply online for Post Matric Scholarship under National Scholarship Portal. The students should take a print out of the application form and should submit it along with all the relevant documents in the College office.
• SC/ST/OBC category students can apply for a scholarship provided by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Students can find the details on the website www.scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in. 
• The MP Government also offers Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana. Madhya Pradesh residents can submit the application online if they fulfill the eligibility criteria.
• Gaon Ki Beti Yojana scholarship can be availed by girl students of rural areas who have completed their education from village schools. The applicant should have passed Higher Secondary in the same year in which they are joining the College. Candidates can check eligibility and apply for the same.

No. Admission is purely based on merit.

All students who have passed 10+2 are eligible to apply for admission.

Yes. All students enrolling in UG courses are mandated to take up one certificate course in 1^st semester and one in the 3^rd semester.

• The admission is purely based on the past academic records and an Interview that will be conducted in the College 
• The student should first fill an Anti  Ragging form followed by the College Admission form, which will be available on the college website.
• The Application form fee of INR 750 should be paid online.
• The merit list will be published on the College Website.
• The selected students should meet the Counselors on the date and time specified by the college, to confirm admission.

BSSS Hostel Facilities:

The BSSS Hostel Facilities that can be availed by the outstation students are as given below:

• Boys can avail the Hostel Facility at St. Joseph's Boys hostel in the vicinity of the College.
• Girls can stay at Pushpa Girls Hostel which is located inside the college campus.
• The hostel helps to inculcate self-discipline, patriotism and social harmony. It also helps in the internal growth of the student.
• The Hostel rent is UGC sponsored. The student needs to pay only the admission fee and the mess fee.
• Each student has to deposit a non-refundable amount of INR 500 as an admission fee.
•  Students who want to avail two-seater rooms need to make payment in one installment.
• Visitors are allowed as per hostel timings only.
• The residents should strictly follow the hostel rules and regulations.
• Washing Machine facility is provided to the students on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
• The BSSS Facilities include a fitness center, indoor and outdoor sports, etc.
