College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Being a DST-FIST Sponsored department, it has a well equipped PG lab with individual desks for each student, and a well-established lab specifically setup for plant tissue culture. The Department Library has the latest editions of books especially for PG students. Good hostel facilities provide accommodation at affordable rates. The Department has been conducting special lectures periodically with well renowned resource persons.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission is purely based on Merit, no entrance exams of any sort. Pass in B.Sc. with Botany or its equivalent as the main subject With 55% mark is considered eligible

Placements & Internships : The Department of Botany provides Hands on training on Mushroom Technology, Horticulture and Landscape Designing. The course include mandatory internships, training programmes arranged in association with renowned industries and research institutes.

Fees & Scholarships : Government scholarships are available for UG courses and management scholarships specified for economically downtrodden students were also provided for both UG and PG (self finance) students. All students coming from economically downtrodden families can claim scholarships.  

Academics & Faculty : Class timing: UG - 8.30 to 1.30 PG - 2.00 to 6.20 Well qualified and Committed faculties provide guidance to students in academics, research, employment and other career aspects. Smart classrooms are also available for next generation teaching

Clubs & Associations : There are many student clubs like NCC, NSS .. etc are functioning on campus. College based on their interest encourages students to enroll themselves in any one of them and actively participate in social activities. Apart from this college also organizes cultural and sports events to develop the sporting nature of the students. Overall college provides joyful knowledge gaining experience.
