Central Computing Facility

college has an excellent computer laboratory provided with ultra modern, high performance computers and peripherals to meet the lab sessions in a brighter way. Equipped with latest software, this cyber centre renders and enlightened ambience for the students and to catch up with the latest trends in the industry. High speed internet facility is also provided.

Hostel Facility

Separate hostel facilities are provided for boys and girls within the campus with homely atmosphere and food under extreme care of resident wardens. Each hostel is provided with a public telephone booth and other needed facilities.

Central Library

The College Library has more than 22000 Collection of Books covering all disciplines of science, engineering, technology, humanities and social science and over 700 CD ROMs. The reference section got reprographic facility for students. The library currently subscribes to more than 48 national and 12 international journals in engineering and sciences. The library subscribes on-line journals of IEEE, McGraw-Hill, Springr, Science Direct and J-Gate. The students are provided with audio and video reference. The library hall is very specious and can accommodate nearly 120 students at a time. The library is computerized with a separate on-line digital library and staff resource center.

The library working hours is from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm from Monday to Friday. The library working time during Saturdays is from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm.

Language Laboratory

Communicative skills in English language have assumed a significant role in one`s academic and professional career. A state-of-the-art language lab has been set up in this institution. Practice sessions on communication skills are conducted every week on a regular basis.

Workshops

A well equipped workshop with equipments and tools is available to give training in the areas of carpentry, smithy, foundry, fitting, sheet metal work, plumbing, welding, drilling and turning.

College Hostel

College Canteen

The canteen functioning inside the campus has 150 plus seats and offers high quality food at an affordable rate to students, staff and visitors.

College bus

College has Air conditioned buses also for the comfortable conveyance to and from the college for the staff and students. Daily trips are available from Karunagappally, Kottarakara and Trivandrum and other major routes connecting Trivandrum and Kollam. College buses ply to all important destinations as per the needs of the students.

College store

A student store is operating in the campus to help the students to procure all study materials of good quality. All stationery including note books, text books, drawing instruments, etc. are available in the store. It is open throughout the working hours of the college.

Reprographic Centre

A reprographic centre attached to the Library functions in the college. Students and members of staff can take photocopies of study materials and articles at concessional rate.

Medical assistance

A medical centre operating in the campus is equipped to provide medical assistance to the students and staff on all working days.

Industry-Institute Interaction cell

The industry-Institute interaction Cell is established to facilitate greater collaboration with the industries related to the engineering branches. This cell organises technical talks and visits to the neighboring industries. The students can study problems faced by the industries and obtain solutions by undertaking project work related to such problems.

Continuing Education cell

The objective of the cell is to provide training on several values added courses in the field of engineering and technology. This enriches the knowledge of the students and gives the students more confidence in facing the real world. At the end of the course, the student will have a minimum of one additional certificate, which improves his employability.

Counseling centre

The college has a counseling centre to help the students out of their problems. The students, being from different environments, generally need counseling to help them to adapt to the new environment. The centre is managed by an eminent psychologist as student`s counselor and the students can contact the centre directly or through her staff advisors.

Career Guidance and Placement cell

The career guidance and placement cell plays very important and key role in counseling and guiding the students of the college for their successful career placement, which is a crucial interface between the stages of completion of academic programme and the entry in to suitable employment. The training programme starts in the first year itself. This cell is managed by an experienced member of the faculty. It organizes regular classes for Communicative English, soft-skill development programmers and yoga. The cell will also provide guidance for higher education in India and abroad.

The Advisory System

The students in each class are divided in to 3 groups of about 20 students and each group is assigned to a teacher called the Staff Advisor. The staff advisor maintains a comprehensive record of personal and academic information of the student during his/her course in the college. The staff advisor is available to give advice and guidance to the students in all curricular and extra-curricular matters. The advisory system is managed by the Chief-Advisor who will be a senior member of the faculty.
