Library

• The central library is housed in a two-storied building and has about 12,000 sq ft carpet area. The library offers a wide collection of books, periodicals, journals and many more.
• The Burdwan University library offers various services, including a reading room, manuscript section, reference section, etc.

Campuswide Fiber Optic LAN

• Burdwan University has implemented campus-wide Fiber Optic LAN with Gigabit backbone at the academic campus (Golapbag).
• All the departments and sections are connected to the Computer Centre through this LAN.
• The network is administered and managed by the Computer Centre.

Internet Services

• The internet and email facilities are being provided through high-speed connectivity under the NMEICT (National Mission on Education through ICT) Project of the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. Also, a 2 Mbps Lease Line and a 2 Mbps Broadband connection from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) are being subscribed to Burdwan University.
• The services are provided to all the departments round the clock throughout the year.
• It is extended to some residential areas like the Guest House, Teachers' Hostel, etc.

Healthcare

• Burdwan University health centre was started in 1965 to provide health services to students, teachers, and employees.
• It is located on the south (Chandnighat) of Krishnasayer eco-garden.

Accommodation: The Burdwan University hostel offers accommodation facilities for students. It ensures that the full-time postgraduate students at the university live within two kilometres of Golapbag, the academic complex of the University, during the semester periods. 

Societies: The students group at Burdwan University participate in a wide range of activities, including music, literature, sport, politics, the performing arts, popular science, social and developmental work, and much more. Students can get involved in a group or club based on their interests.
