College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are many hostels and PGs available near the college campus. However, the college doesn't provide any accommodation services. Food in the hostels are quite good and they provide nutritional diet too. Quality of classroom and labs are quite spacious and comfortable to students.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for University of Technology and Management, Shillong (UTM, Shillong), the candidates must procure a minimum of 60% in their 12th board and 51% combined of Physics and Mathematics. Cutoffs: Talking about cutoffs in B.tech courses, if you can obtain a minimum of 60% in state board examination and 50% in (Physics+Mathematics).
Placements & Internships : Internship: I got the golden opportunity of getting my internship at Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Pvt. Ltd. Kolkata (GRSE, Kolkata). It comes under the defence ministry of India. It was not a paid internship and all the expenses had to be bear by the candidates only. Companies like IBM, Zenus Group, EDOOFA have visited our college campus for placements. And their average salary package lies in the range of INR 3-5 lakhs per annum.
Fees & Scholarships : The fees were between INR 80000 - 1 lakh per semester at University of Technology and Management. Although there were scholarship opportunities available for meritorious students based upon their performance. You can easily available loans if required. They can be easily availed through SBI, PNB, etc.
Academics & Faculty : The class Timing is from 9 am to 5 pm. You get a regular assignment and there is two-semester exam per semester. And between these exams, you will get assignment and internals. It was a pleasure studying at UTM, Shillong. All the faculties and students are marvellous. Overall it was a knowledgeful and practical experience.
Clubs & Associations : There are many societies formed and managed by the students like Ecological Society, IT and Technical Society, Gamerz Society, and so on. The college also organises many cultural fests for fresher students to get involved with the Society and its culture. In general, it was a quite adventurous, joyful and adventurous life studying at UTM Shillong.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The hostels are available near our college for boys and girls but not affiliated with our college. All private hostels. Quality of classrooms and library is fine.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The candidate must clear the UPESEAT exam and must have passed the 12th with minimum of 50% marks from a recognized institute. Minimum 50% cutoff mark is required.
Placements & Internships : I haven’t done any internship yet. I don’t know much about the companies taking part in the recruitment drive. The average salary offered was INR 2 lakhs per annum and around 50% of the students get placed.
Fees & Scholarships : The fee is INR 1 lakh per semester at University of Technology and Management. Top 3 university toppers are eligible for the scholarship. The students from weak financial background may need education loan.
Academics & Faculty : This is the only thing that is very excellent in our university. Just for the academic background.
Clubs & Associations : Student societies conduct SPE (society of petroleum) and annual sports event every year. Life in college is little boring.
