Vimal Jyothi Engineering College Chemperi - Kannur belongs to the Kerala Catholic Engineering College Management’s Association (KCECMA) and tuition fees, admission policies etc are same for our 15 colleges. As per the agreement with government 50% of the B.Tech. seats in all the member colleges of KCECMA will be allotted by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE).

Streams under B.Tech:
The admission to B.Tech (4 year Full Time) programme at Vimal Jyothi Engineering College Chemperi (VJEC) is offered under Kerala Technological University ( KTU) - Trivandrum and approved by AICTE.
All the candidates seeking admission into the institution for the above post graduation courses should be a graduate with a bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering discipline obtained through the [10+2+3] system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India.
A Relaxation of 5% of marks on the minimum aggregate is allowed for SC/ST candidates.

Candidates can also get an admission into the institution through all India level engineering entrance test, JEE Mains.
The institution might conduct their own entrance test if applicable.
