The team in charge of the placements aims to improve the employability of students and towards that, they hold several activities to ensure all-around exposure for the students. To increase their chances of placements, VBS adopts the GCPT as their guiding path.
• This GCPT is made of the placement managers, the student representatives, the faculty members, and the alumni. They work in tandem to aid the students to develop their employability quotient. They host several events throughout the academic year which helps to turn the students into industry-ready resources.
• VBS maintains close ties with the corporate world and works along with them to co-design its teaching and anticipates its graduates’ careers.
• Students will undergo various skill enhancement training to improve their performance in internships and final placements
• Career guidance and placements training at Vivekanand Business School include SWOT Analysis, training, workshops on designing an effective resume, career counselling and mentoring, industry interaction and 8 weeks on summer internships, various mock tests, GD-PI round and all kind of preplacement training.

Internship Program

The internship offers an intensive learning experience to a student. They receive on-the-job training and corporate internships at various reputed organizations. This helps student’s gain experience of working in a business organization while grasping curriculum-related information. Student internships are generally offered for a period of 2 months as part of their Summer Internship Program and they also undertake a Management Internship Program of 3 months.
