Library 

The Central Library was opened and started its functions from the year 1966 as “Jaladbarani Pathagar” in the Seminar Hall of the main building. It was set up by the donation of Hon’ble Surgeon, Dr. Sailen Banerjee. Presently the library is on the first floor of the newly built three storied building of the college. It is well cleaned, decorated and documented. The Library is using SOUL software and also planning to convert into KOHA software very soon.

Objectives:

The library was set up with the motto to render services to the teachers as well as students by providing text and other reference materials. Besides –
i. rendering services to all students, teachers, research scholars and other external clienteles ;
ii. creating and enhancing reading habits among the all users ; iii. to make the education user oriented and dynamics ; iv. to help the all educational  programme of the college.
