Computer Center 

The college has developed centralized computer facilities for its faculty members, PG students and research scholars. Presently the center has about 08 computers. Broadband internet facility at the centre is used extensively by our PG students, researchers, and faculty & staff members for enhancing their research/teaching area based knowledge as well as for other informative aspects. Dr.------ of ------- Department is the faculty-in-charge of the computer center. 

Central Library 

VSSD College has a huge computerized Central library with ample space hosting more than 1,10,000 books and periodicals/journals. Dr. ----- of the ------- department is the faculty-in-charge of this library. In addition to the librarian, Smt. Meena Srivastava, about 20 staff members of the library efficiently perform the library activities. Central library is equipped with online access to the internet/ e-resource, reproduction facilities like Photocopy machine and LCD projector. 

Hostel Facility 

Excellent hostel facilities for boys and girls are provided for VSSD students of age 25 & above. At present hostel are equipped to accommodate approximately --- students. Dr. ---- (-- ) is the Chief Hostel Warden and Dr.---- (--) and Dr. --- (----) are the wardens of the hostels. 

Banking Facility 

A satellite/extension counter of PNB Azad Nagar operates in the campus of VSSD College. 

Cultural & Other Activity Center 

Students of the college take part in many cultural activities, debates/seminars for which Dr.---- (---- department) is the faculty-in-charge. Apart from participating in debates, group discussions, cultural activities, sports etc, the students also contribute their creative ideas in college magazine "Ritambhara" which is published annually. 

Games Centre 

Games Centre at VSSD college offers facilities of indoor and outdoor games for the wholesome development of the students. Many extracurricular activities are organized throughout the year and the participation in inter-collegiate events are encouraged. The centre is very well equipped with the modern facilities. Many of our students represent CSJM University team in different sports and participate in inter university/ State and National level tournaments and secure position in these events every year. Shri ---- is the faculty-in-charge of the Games center. 

NCC & NSS Centers 

For all round development of students the NCC and NSS Centers have been running at the college. For the enrolment and other information related to NCC Sri. --------- can be reached at ---- faculty. NSS related activities are organized by Dr. ----. Dr. ------- can be approached at the ------ department. 

Gymnasium Facility 

At VSSD College there is a well equipped gymnasium for boys & girls. 

Tutor Guardian Scheme 

The college has always been keeping its commitment towards its' students by continuing tutor guardian scheme. Under this scheme a teacher guardian is appointed for about 30 - 40 students of the same faculty. The teacher guardian not only facilitates the academic and career related issues but also resolves the personal problems of the students. 

Internal Quality Assurance Cell 

To ensure continuous improvement in the entire operations of the college as well as to ensure stakeholders connected with higher Education (parents, teachers, staff, funding agencies and society) of its own quality and probity an Internal Quality Assurance Cell was established in the college.

The cell works for the design and implementation of annual teaching learning plan, getting feed back responses from students for quality and other activities leading to quality enhancement. Dr. ---- of ---- Faculty is the convener of Internal Quality Assurance Cell. 

Research Degree Committee 

To promote and monitor the research activities in the college, a Research Degree Committee was constituted in the college.

The committee provides necessary guidelines and information for research proposals of many funding agencies. Also it works as an internal reviewing committee for any research paper, synopsis, dissertation etc. before its submission in journals/ conferences or in CSJM University Kanpur. Dr. ----- of ----- department the convener of Research Degree Committee. 

Grievance Redressal, Women & Anti Ragging Cell 

Grievance Redressal Cell: To initiate pro-active measures to redress the grievances in the campus, a Grievance Redressal cell exists in the college. The cell, which consists of members from college administration, management, faculty, staff and student-representatives, examines and scrutinizes all type of complaints letters and grievances and initiate follow up action on them.

Women's Cell: The objective of this Cell is to maintain congenial working environment for women employees and students of the college. Dr. Anita Sonker of Sanskrit department can be reached for any such grievance.

Anti-ragging cell: The members of proctorial board educate students against ragging. Proctors and Hostel wardens along with college administration constitute the anti-ragging cell. 

U.P. Rajarshi Tandon Open University Center 

To provide the facility of acquiring profes sional degree the U.P. Rajarshi Tandon Open University has chosen our college to be one of its study center since 2002. This center runs various courses like Diploma in Journalism, Library & Information Science, Tourism etc. & many other courses. Dr. ----- (----) is the faculty-in-charge of the U.P.R.T.O.U. center. 

O Level Computer Course 

For the students interested in computer courses, an "O" level course affiliated to DOEACC is conducted round the year in the College campus. The certification for the course is issued by CSJM University, Kanpur.
