CCSU or Meerut's Chaudhary Charan Singh University, was established in 1965. Meerut University was earlier known as Chaudhary Charan Singh University. Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut provides higher education in western Uttar Pradesh. The available programs include diploma, advanced diploma, postgraduate diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs are available at the university in fields such as Arts, Commerce, Science, Education, Computer, and Law. CCSU accepts the scores of JEE Main, UPSEE, GATE, UGC-NET and CSIR-NET score for admission to these courses.

CCSU is spread across 222 acres and has over 10 departments that conduct various academic activities at the institute. It has a fully functional Women cell, placement cell, fully wi-fi campus, and Dhan Singh Kotwal Community Centre. CCSU has 252 affiliated professional colleges/institutions and 109 colleges affiliated to it. CCSU has a separate engineering college, which offers multiple specialisations in BTech.CCSU also offers placements to students in the final year of the course.

CCSU Admissions 2024

CCSU offers undergraduate courses like B.A., BCom, BSc, BTech and BBA, post-graduation courses like MA, MSc, MTech, MPhil and MSc and doctoral courses for which the candidate has to apply online. The candidate has to appear for entrance exams like the CCS Entrance test, UPSEE, JEE Mains, UGC-NET/CSIR-NET for admissions. The admission registration is done online and the students apply with their respective scores.

CCSU Eligibility Criteria

Before applying to courses at CCSU the students must meet the eligibility criteria laid down by the institute.

BA/BSc/BCom Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks from any recognised board.

MA/MSc/MCom Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed Graduation with 50% marks from any recognised board/university.

MPhil/PhD Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed Postgraduation with 50% marks from any recognised board/university.
• Candidates must have a valid score in CSIR/UGC-NET/JRF

CCSU cutoff 2022 will be released soon. The cutoff is based on the number of seats, the average score of students and past cutoffs. The cutoff is followed by counselling and for MPhil courses, interviews are also conducted.

CCSU Result

CCSU publishes all the semester and other entrance results online on the official website. The students can check their results by clicking on the students section under 'examinations'. The students are notified about result declaration through notices and circulars.

There is a placement cell at the college. The placement cell is in charge of the student's training and grooming before recruitment. All of the student's needs are met by the faculty.
