AIPGDEE 2023 is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), organizes the AIPGDEE counselling for 50% All India Quota MDS seats. The counselling for AIPGDEE 2023 will take place online.
AIPGDEE 2023 Counselling Highlights
The AIPGDEE 2023 seat allotments will take place based on the ranks achieved by the candidates in the AIPGDEE. Verification of the documents will be done during AIPGDEE 2023 counselling. Candidates must submit all documents along with AIPGDEE 2023 Admit Card and AIPGDEE Rank Letter during AIPGDEE 2023 counselling procedure.
Documents Required at the time of AIPGEE 2023 Admission
Applicants have to bring the following document at the time of counselling.
- Admit Card-cum-Confirmation Slip issued by AIIMS
- Rank Letter
- BDS Mark Sheets of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year
- BDS Degree Certificate
- Internship Completion Certificate from the Head of the Institution or College
- Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by DCI OR State Dental Council
- High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate in proof of date of birth
- Identity Proof
- Category Certificate
- Orthopedic Physical Disability Certificate issued by a duly constituted
- authorized Medical Board
AIPGDEE 2023 Counselling Process
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) organizes the AIPGDEE counselling for 50% of the All India Quota MDS seats. The AIPGDEE 2023 counselling will take place in the online mode. The AIPGDEE 2023 seat allotments will take place on the basis of the ranks achieved by the candidates in the AIPGDEE. Documents will also be verified during AIPGDEE 2023 counselling. Candidates are required to submit all documents along with AIPGDEE 2023 admit card and AIPGDEE rank card during AIPGDEE 2023 counselling procedure.
Candidates can use the following steps to register themselves for the AIPGDEE 2023 counselling process.
Step 1: Online Counseling Registration
- Candidates need to register themselves on the official website for the Online counselling registration process.
Step 2: Choice Exercising and Locking
- Once the online registration is completed the candidate can fill in their choice of subjects/courses and colleges/institutions in order of their preference for the first round of AIPGDEE 2023 seat allotment.
- Candidates can modify their choices and preferences until the deadline and until they haven't locked their choices.
- Once the choices have been locked no changes can be made.
- If the candidate does not lock the choice before the deadline, their filled choices will be automatically locked on the mentioned day and time.
- The candidates can take a printout of the choices filled and keep it for future reference.
- If the candidate doesn’t register and fill the choices, they will not be allotted any college despite their rank in the AIPGDEE 2023 rank list.
Step 3: Process of Seat Allotment – Round 1
The process of seat allotment will be based on the AIPGDEE rank and the availability of seats in the AIPGDEE 2023 participating institutions. Once the candidates have been assigned with the courses and colleges, their results will be declared on the official website. The students have to report to the college with the required set of documents to claim their seats.
Step 4: Round 1 Result Declaration
The results of seat allotment for Round 1 will be declared on the official website.
Step 5: Reporting at the Allotted Medical / Dental Institute after the first round
- In case the candidate is allotted a seat in Round 1 counseling, he/she has to complete the admission formalities in the institute within the given period and time.
- Only then the candidate can avail of the option of participating in the Round 2 counseling.
- Besides the candidate must give the option of participating in Round 2 while joining the allotted seat during Round 1.
- Otherwise neither he/she will be considered for the Round 2 seat allotment process nor can he/she access the option of up-gradation of the seat.
Step 6: Process of Seat Allotment - Round 2
The second round starts with a new choice filling and consecutive seat allotment. There is no fresh registration of candidates. Candidates who are eligible for Round 2 counseling :
- Group I: The registered candidates who were not allotted any seat in Round 1.
- Group II: The registered candidates, the whose allotted seat is canceled in the first round due to discrepancies in the document verification during admission. Also, the candidates who have secured seats under reserved quota but have changed the category in the second round to unreserved.
- Group III: Candidates who have agreed to participate in Round 2 for up-gradation during the admission procedure of Round 1.
- Candidates who are not eligible for Round 2 of counselling
- Candidates who have not reported at Allotted Institute after in Round 1.
- Candidates who have reported & withdrawn (Resigned) from counseling at Allotted Institute.
- Candidates who became non-eligible due to a change of category.
- Candidates who have not chosen up-gradation.
- The seat conversion from reserved to an unreserved category will be processed during Round 2.
- The conversion of vacant reserved seats will be carried out according to the following algorithm after seat allotment during Round-2 to PH/Reserved category candidates.
- Step 7: Round 2 Result Announcement.
- Step 8: Reporting at the Allotted Medical / Dental Institute after the second round.
- Step 9: Publication of net vacant seats.
- Step 10: Choice Submission by candidates eligible for Round 3.
- Step 11: Process of Seat Allotment - Round 3.
- Step 12: Round 3 Result Declaration.
- Step 13: Reporting at allotted Dental College after Round 3
