About CA Intermediate
CA Intermediate is a level 2 exam of the Chartered Accountancy course in India. After passing the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) or the CA Foundation Course, students have the option to register for the CA Intermediate.
Graduates, postgraduates, and students with similar degrees can also apply for the CA Intermediate exam without first taking the entry-level exams. CA Intermediate exams are held twice a year, usually in the first week of May and November.
The Institute has decided that beginning in May/Jun 2024, Intermediate course examinations will be held three times a year in May/Jun, Sep, and Jan. CA exam is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for candidates of the Chartered Accountancy profession in India.
