What to Carry on CFA Exam Day 2024?
On the day of the CFA exam dates 2024, candidates do not need an admission ticket. They can use their passport ID card as their identification. However, some testing facilities may ask for a copy of the appointment confirmation email, which should have the appointment confirmation number on it.
However this is not usually necessary, and they will ask the candidates before the test if they need it. Candidates may bring the following items with them to the exam centre:
- A valid international passport (no other identification is allowed).
- A CFA-approved calculator - either a Texas Instruments BA II Plus (including BA II Plus Professional) or a Hewlett Packard 12C (including the HP 12C Platinum, 12C Platinum 25th-anniversary edition, 12C 30th-anniversary edition, and HP 12C Prestige). Candidates must test their calculator's settings in advance to avoid any issues on test day. Candidates may also consider having a backup calculator in case their primary one fails.
- Eyeglasses only. Candidates can carry their glasses with them, but not the case.
Candidates need pre-approval to bring the following items:
- Epi-pen
- Handheld magnifying glass (non-electronic, and no case)
- Inhaler
- Earplugs (foam with no strings)
- Eyedrops
