CFA Exam Dates 2025 has been released by the conducting authority on the official website. The CFA 2025 level 1 exam for February session was commenced from Feb 17 - 23, 2025. Howevr, the level 3 exam was commenced from Feb 13 - 16, 2025.
Further, the CFA 2025 exam date for the May session level 1 is scheduled from May 14 - 20, 2025 and the level 2 exam has been scheduled from May 21 - 25, 2025. The CFA level 1 exam for August session will take place from Aug 20 - 26, 2025, level 2 is scheduled from Aug 27 - 31, 2025, and the level 3 will be commenced from Aug 15 - 19, 2025.
In addition, students must note that the CFA level 1 exam for November session has been scheduled from Nov 12 - 18, 2025 and the level 2 will take place from Nov 19 - 23, 2025. Candidates must be aware of the deadlines associated with the CFA Exam 2025 before registering for it. Further, applicants are advised to bring their admit card along with any valid government ID proof to the exam centre.

What to Carry on CFA Exam Day 2025?
On the day of the CFA exam dates 2025, candidates do not need an admission ticket. They can use their passport ID card as their identification. However, some testing facilities may ask for a copy of the appointment confirmation email, which should have the appointment confirmation number on it.
However this is not usually necessary, and they will ask the candidates before the test if they need it. Candidates may bring the following items with them to the exam centre:
- A valid international passport (no other identification is allowed).
- A CFA-approved calculator - either a Texas Instruments BA II Plus (including BA II Plus Professional) or a Hewlett Packard 12C (including the HP 12C Platinum, 12C Platinum 25th-anniversary edition, 12C 30th-anniversary edition, and HP 12C Prestige). Candidates must test their calculator's settings in advance to avoid any issues on test day. Candidates may also consider having a backup calculator in case their primary one fails.
- Eyeglasses only. Candidates can carry their glasses with them, but not the case.
Candidates need pre-approval to bring the following items:
- Epi-pen
- Handheld magnifying glass (non-electronic, and no case)
- Inhaler
- Earplugs (foam with no strings)
- Eyedrops
Candidates need to check that their passport is still valid on the day of the test and that the name on their passport matches the name they used to register for the test. If there are any discrepancies, candidates should contact the CFA Institute immediately.

CFA Application Form Dates 2025
The application form for the CFA 2025 sessions is ongoing on the official website. The CFA 2025 application form link has been made available on the official website for the students. The registration for the May level 1 and 2 lasted till Feb 6, 2025. The form was released on Aug 8, 2024.
Furthermore, the form-filling for the August level 1, 2, and 3 session is also in progress and the last date of registration has been scheduled for May 6, 2025. Candidates are advised to fill out their form within the scheduled timeline.
In addition, the CFA registration for the November 2025 session for all the levels has been started from Feb 12, 2025. The last date to complete the form-filling has been scheduled for Aug 5, 2025.
