IBPS PO exam pattern 2023 is given below. Candidates can go through the pattern and make a schedule to help with IBPS PO 2023 preparation. The exam pattern for prelims and mains exam of IBPS PO has been discussed differently below. A pattern of both tiers is contrasting as prelims measure the basic knowledge of a candidate in Maths, Reasoning, and English.
But the Mains paper tests the knowledge of a candidate on an advanced level with General Knowledge, Computer Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Essay/Letter Writing, and so on.

IBPS PO 2023 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of both prelims and mains is given below in detail.
IBPS PO 2023 Prelims Exam Pattern
In the prelims exam of IBPS PO candidates have to answer a total of 100 questions in 60 minutes. Except for the English section, other sections will be available in English as well as Hindi.

The total duration of the IBPS PO 2023 prelims exam is 60 minutes. Candidates have to qualify in each of the three sections. IBPS PO cut off marks for individual sections have to be cleared by a candidate. In each category, a number of candidates are shortlisted as per the decision of IBPS depending upon the requirements for the mains exam.
IBPS PO 2023 Mains Exam Pattern
Exam pattern for IBPS PO Mains for 2023 is given below:

Both the exams are available bilingually (in English & Hindi) except for the English Language test. As per IBPS PO Exam Pattern will be negative marking for wrong answers. One-fourth (or 0.25) of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted as a penalty for wrong answers.
Candidates are required to secure a minimum overall cut off marks in both Prelims and Mains exams and minimum cutoff marks for each of the sections, as specified. Only the score of the Main examination and the score of the interview (combined) will be considered for Final Merit Listing. The final score will be out of 100 marks.
