RRB ALP 2024 Eligibility - Based on Nationality
(i) A candidate must be either:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st of January 1962 to permanently settle in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India.
(ii) A candidate who needs an eligibility certificate can be allowed for the examination but he/she can receive the offer of appointment only after the Government has issued an eligibility certificate to them.

RRB ALP 2024 Eligibility - Based on Education
- Candidates should have the Educational/Technical qualifications indicated for notified posts from a recognized Institute/University.
- Those awaiting results of the final examination of the prescribed educational/technical qualification should not apply.
- A diploma/Degree in Engineering will not be accepted in place of a course completed by Act Apprenticeship /ITI for the post of Technician unless otherwise specified.
