Recruitment for SBI Clerk 2022-23
Firstly SBI releases the notification for the vacancies of clerk and then organize the exam into 2 phase namely, Preliminary Exam and the Mains Exam. For Clerk Post, there is no interview round or group discussion. It made this exam a bit easier. SBI Clerk Prelims
SBI Clerk Recruitment consists of two phases of the online examination. Among the two phases, SBI Clerk Prelims is qualifying in nature. Candidates must have to qualify for the sectional cut-off and complete the cut-off of the exam to write the SBI Clerk Mains exam. If the Candidate Fails to Qualify SBI Clerk prelims, they will not able to write the SBI Clerk Main exam.

SBI Clerk Mains
Marks scored by the candidates in the Main exam will contribute to the final merit list. After this candidate might be required to write the Regional or Local Language Proficiency Test. In SBI Clerk 2016 the cut-off for general category was 57.5 with sectional cut-off as English- 6.75, Numerical Ability-5.5 and reasoning was 7.75.
