Steps to Fill SSC MTS 2024 Application Form
Candidates can fill SSC MTS application form 2024 by following the step-by-step process given below.
- Step 1: Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for registration.
- Step 2: New candidates should click on the 'Register Now' option under the 'Login' box on the homepage. Already registered candidates can start filling up the application form by using login credentials such as registration number, SSC registration password and captcha code.
- Step 3: By clicking the 'Register' option, the candidate will have to fill in all the mandatory basic and educational details.
- Step 4: After successful registration, the registration number and password will be generated.

SSC MTS 2024 Recruitment
There is no interview section in the process of SSC MTS Recruitment 2024. SSC will recruit candidates based on the written exams only. SSC MTS selection process is as follows.
- Step 1: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the SSC MTS Paper I exam online.
- Step 2: Shortlisted candidates after the Paper I examination will have to appear for Paper II exams conducted offline.
- Step 3: Candidates who score the SSC MTS cut-off will be qualified for the next step.
- Step 4: A document verification process will be conducted for candidates after they successfully qualify for the written exam.
- Step 5: Candidates will be recruited in the post for which they applied.
Note: The cut-offs may vary in both papers as per the vacancies in each State/UT. Candidates for each State/UT will be finally shortlisted based on their exam performance in papers I and II.

SSC MTS 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the Havaldar post were revised and the age limit now stands at 27 years. In the original notification, the age limit for the Havaldar post in CBN will be 25 years. Before applying for the SSC MTS exam 2024, the candidate should know the eligibility criteria set by SSC.

SSC MTS Exam Pattern
A candidate needs to know about the exam pattern of SSC MTS before attempting the exam. SSC MTS exam will be conducted in both online and offline mode. SSC MTS exam will consist of two papers and a total of 2 hours will be allotted for the exam. 1 hour 30 minutes for Paper I and 30 minutes for Paper II.
Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded and for each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.
Exam Duration: Candidates who belong to the General category will be given a time duration of 90 minutes while the PWD category will be given 120 minutes. For the descriptive paper, candidates who belong to the General category will be given a time duration of 30 minutes while the PWD category will be given 40 minutes.

SSC MTS 2023 Result
The SSC MTS 2023 result for MTS and Havaldar positions was released on Dec 18, 2023. With the SSC MTS final result 2023, the Commission also issued the cutoff for MTS and Havaldar jobs. The Commission chose 1,786 people for the Document Verification procedure.
The Commission noted the candidates' roll numbers, names, and categories. The Commission previously increased the number of SSC MTS Havaldar openings from 360 to 392. 57 candidates' results were withheld, and their roll numbers were released separately. About the MTS SSC
Staff Selection Commission Multi-Tasking Staff, abbreviated as SSC MTS is a national-level public examination that facilitates the recruitment of candidates for various non-technical posts. The nature of the job is multitasking and challenging. The MTS exam is an online recruitment exam and all the MTS posts are available on the central government's official websites and in all of its departments across the country.
The exam is conducted once a year. The examination has two papers namely Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is an online (computer-based) examination of a duration of 90 minutes. Paper II is an offline (pen and paper) examination of a duration of 30 minutes.

SSC MTS 2024 Vacancy
On Nov 1, 2023, the Commission issued a Corrigendum. The Staff Selection Commission revised the number of candidates to be selected for the SSC MTS Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) for the SSC MTS Havaldar Posts in the corrigendum. In the first iteration, the Commission advertised 360 SSC MTS Havaldar positions. According to the corrigendum, the Commission will select 1830 candidates for PET/PST.
Individuals will be shortlisted in a ratio of 1:10 in this selection process, which implies that for every vacancy, ten individuals will be shortlisted. These applicants who have been shortlisted will subsequently be required to take the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the Physical Standard Test (PST).

The Staff Selection Commission has altered the number of SSC MTS vacancy 2022. The Commission reduced the number of MTS 2022 vacancies for the 18-25 age group while increasing the number of slots for the SSC MTS 18-27 age group.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recently notified SSC MTS new vacancy 2024. The total number of open SSC MTS new vacancy 2024 positions is 1,558. The distribution of these roles is such that a majority of the 1,198 available positions are for Tasking Staff, accounting for a sizable portion of the total postings. The remaining 360 positions are for the Havaldar duty.
