Ans. The SSC MTS stands for the Multi Tasking Staff posts of Group C level under non-gazetted. It offers posts such as Watchmen, Havaldar, Gatekeeper, Operator, Peon, and others.
Revised Changes in SSC MTS 2024 Exam Pattern
The official authorities have made certain changes in the SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2024. The changes are as follows:
- Paper II exam is held descriptive. Earlier, the candidates were supposed to write a short story or an essay in 45 minutes. However, now the candidates will be required to complete the essay/ short story in 30 minutes. Thus, the MTS exam time has been reduced.
- Physical Efficiency Test includes physical test by cycling 8 mtrs in 8 minutes. However, now it has been changed to 1600 meters in 15 minutes. It has been made easier than the previous rule.
Q. Is there any SSC MTS Havaldar uniform?
Ans. Yes. A light-coloured shirt with a pair of dark-coloured pants in the shade of brown, followed by a pair of black shoes, a black belt, a black cap, and a nametag. All these will be provided to the candidates by the department.

The paper will be offline (pen and paper-based). Paper II will be a completely descriptive type without any MCQs.
