Haryana scholarships, provided by the subsidiary departments of the state government and private organizations, offer financial assistance to students domiciled in the state and studying class I or above. Additionally, they offer several schemes to students belonging to the BC, SC, OBC, DNT, and other reserved categories. The deserving candidates will receive up to INR 6,000 per month as a reward. POSE (Promotion of Science Education) Scholarship
The Haryana State Council for Science and Technology has launched the Promotion of Science Education or the POSE program for students pursuing a bachelor's or masters degree in basic and natural sciences. The programme rewards the scholars with the Haryana scholarship amount of up to INR 22,000 as a grant for mentorship and a stipend of up to INR 6,000 per month. The state department has launched the POSE programme to encourage aspiring students to pursue higher education in science by supporting them financially.

Dr Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatra Yojana
The Department of Scheduled Caste and Backward Classes Welfare manages Dr Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatra yojana. The domiciles of Haryana belonging to the SC and OBC categories and who have passed the class X board exam can apply to this scheme. The providers will select the top 1,000 students and offer them INR 10,000 per annum for two consecutive years.

Haryana Post Matric Scholarships
The State government provides the Haryana post matric scholarship to its domiciles belonging to the OBC and SC categories. Therefore, those studying class XI and above can apply to the scheme. The providers have reserved 30% of the scholarships for girls and 5% for disabled students.
The OBC students with a family income of INR 1,50,000 per annum and SC candidates with an annual family income of INR 2,50,000 can apply to this Haryana post matric scholarship scheme. Those belonging to the OBC and SC categories will receive up to INR 750 and INR 1,200 per month, respectively.
Financial Assistance for Higher Competitive Entrance Exams for SC/ST Students
This Haryana state scholarship scheme is managed by the Welfare of Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes. They will offer up to INR 10,000 as financial assistance for students appearing for competitive exams. The candidates domiciled in Haryana and belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Backward Classes (BC) can apply to this programme. Additionally, the applicant's family income should not exceed INR 2,50,000 per annum to be eligible for the programme.
Pre-Matric Haryana Scholarship Scheme for Wards of Unclean Occupation Workers
The state government offers financial aid to the children of unclean occupation workers through the pre-matric Haryana scholarship. Therefore, students whose parents are engaged in tanning/ flaying, picking or collecting waste, manual scavengers and construction workers of dry latrines can apply to this programme.
The pre-matric Haryana scholarship scheme 2023 is available to students from class I for day scholars and class III for hostellers. However, they cannot avail benefits after class X. The day-scholars from classes I to X will receive INR 110, and hostellers from classes III to X will receive INR 700 every month. Additionally, the government will disburse an ad-hoc amount of up to INR 1,000.
Dr Ambedkar Haryana Scholarships for the DNTs
The state government offers financial assistance to the Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes (DNT) students studying at pre-matric and post-matric levels through Dr Ambedkar Haryana state scholarship programme. Students from class I to the PhD level can apply to this scheme. The applicants should ensure their annual family income does not exceed INR 2,00,000. The state government will grant up to INR 1,200 per month to the scholars.
Annusuchit Jati Chhattra Ucch Shiksha Protsahan Yojana
Haryana's Welfare of Scheduled Caste and Backward Classes Department provides the Annusuchit jati Chattra ucch Shiksha protsahan yojana. The female students domiciled in the state and belonging to the SC category can apply to this Haryana scholarship scheme.
Those who have cleared the class XII board exam with an annual family income of not more than INR 2,40,000 can apply to the programme. The female candidates selected under the programme will receive up to INR 14,000 per annum.
NMMS Haryana Scholarship
The NMMS Haryana state scholarship is available to permanent residents from classes IX to XII. The State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) conducts a selection exam for the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS). Students pursuing class VIII can appear for the exam. However, they should have received a minimum of 75% in the class VII exam to qualify for the programme.
Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for Excellence in Education
The Rajiv Gandhi program for excellence in education is available to students of classes VI and XII. The government has launched this Haryana scholarship scheme and will select a male and female student from each class who secure the first position in the previous academic exam. However, it is exclusively for the permanent residents of Haryana. The providers will select one male and female student between classes VI and VIII and award them INR 750. However, those between class VIII and XII will receive a Haryana scholarship amount of INR 1,000.
Haryana Scholarship Monthly Stipend for BPL Students
Under the state government, the Department of Elementary Education offers a monthly stipend to students in the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category. The programme is available to domiciles of Haryana, studying classes I and VIII. The selected candidates from classes I and V will receive up to INR 150, and those between classes VI and VIII will receive up to INR 200 every month. The providers will disburse the Haryana scholarship amount directly to the beneficiary's bank account through the DBT system every quarter.

The candidates should ensure they fulfil the Haryana scholarship eligibility criteria before submitting the application forms.

Step 1: The candidates should visit the official Haryana scholarship portal.
Step 2: The first time applicants should register themselves on the portal by providing valid contact details.
Step 3: After successful registration, they should enter the login credentials to access the Haryana scholarship online form 2023.
Step 4: Next, the candidates should duly fill the Haryana scholarship 2023 online form with the correct details, attach the required documents and submit it.

The application process for the pre-matric scholarship for unclean occupation workers is through the offline mode. The candidates can obtain the pre-matric Haryana scholarship application form from the concerned department under the state government. They should duly fill in the application form with the correct details, attach the required documents and submit it back to the department within the Haryana scholarship last date 2023.
