LIC HFL Vidyadhan scholarship is an initiative taken by LIC Housing Finance Limited. This initiative was majorly taken to support the financially weaker students. It is available for those students only who are studying in class 8 to post-graduation. Scholarship amount upto INR 30,000 is received by the selected candidate, depending upon their level of study. The last date to apply for the LIC HFL Vidyadhan scholarship is September 30, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

LIC HFL Vidyadhan scholarship is given to students from class 8th to post-graduation level. The eligibility criteria differ based on the level of education. Detailed information about the LIC HFL Vidyadhan scholarship is provided in the table below.

Level of Study Eligibility Criteria 
Classes 8-10
  • The candidate should have secured atleast 65% marks in the last examinations.
  • The annual family income should be less than INR 3,00,000.
  • Orphans, physically challenged, EWS etc. are given primary preferences.
Classes 11-12
  • The applicant must have atleast 65% marks in class 10th board examinations.
  • The annual family income should be less than INR 3,00,000.
  • Orphans, physically challenged, EWS etc. are preferred first.
Under graduation courses
  • The applicants should secure atleast 65% marks in class 12th board examinations.
  • Final year students cannot apply for this scholarship.
  • The annual family income should be less than INR 3,00,000.
  • Orphans, physically challenged, EWS etc. are preferred first.
Post graduation courses
  • The qualified applicants must score atleast 65% marks in class UG level examinations.
  • Final year students cannot apply for this scholarship.
  • The annual family income should be less than INR 3,00,000.
  • Orphans, physically challenged, EWS etc. are preferred first.

LIC HFL Vidyadhan Scholarship Rewards

Under the LIC HFL Vidyadhan scholarship, rewards are given according to the different levels of study. The scholarship amount differs according to the level of study they are undergoing. Rewards under different levels of education are mentioned below.

Classes 11-12 INR 15,000

Post graduation courses INR 30,000

Interested students can apply for this scholarship online by visiting their official portal. Students can follow the below-mentioned steps if they want to apply for this scholarship.

Step 1: Visit the official web portal of LIC, choose the class of study, and proceed.

Step 2: Click on the ‘apply online’ button on the home page, and then the ‘Scholarship Application Page’ will be displayed in front of you.

Step 3: Now, ‘Sign up’ on the website to start the application process.

Step 4: Fill in all the mandatory details in the application form carefully.

Step 5: Upload all the necessary documents in the prescribed format and the application form.

Step 6: After checking your application carefully, click on the ‘Submit’ button.
