- Candidates pursuing engineering courses at a government/ non-government institution will receive the total course fees. However, those studying in private colleges will receive INR 1,50,000 or the actual fee, whichever is less.
- Those pursuing a medical/ dental degree at a government or private hospital will receive a full tuition fee.
- The scholars pursuing a law degree at National Law Universities (NLUs) will receive the full tuition fee.

Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana (MMJKY)
The Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana (MMJKY) invites applications from students who have enrolled in a bachelor's degree, ITI or polytechnic courses after clearing the class XII exam. The Department of Technical Education and Skill Development of the state provides the Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana (MMJKY) for the domiciles of Madhya Pradesh. Post-Matric MP Scholarship for OBC Students
The students studying class XI and above can apply to this M scholarship scheme. They should be residents of Madhya Pradesh belonging to the OBC category. The objective of the scholarship is to encourage students from the OBC category to pursue higher studies.

The Post-matric MP scholarship for the ST students are available to the Madhya Pradesh residents belonging to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category. The students can apply online to the scholarship through the official MP scholarship 2.0 portal. The Department of Tribal Welfare provides the post-matric MP scholarship for ST students. Model Higher Secondary Schools and Girls Education Complex Scholarship Scheme
The Model higher secondary schools and girls education, under the MP scholarships, is available to class VI, IX and XI students. The State government of Madhya Pradesh intends to provide good quality education to the scheduled category students residing in tribal areas through this scheme. Interested candidates should apply offline through their educational institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of model higher secondary schools and the girls' education complex scholarship scheme are as follows:
- The candidates in class VI, IX or XI, should have passed the class V, VIII or X exam, respectively.
- In addition, they should have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the previous qualifying exam.
Benefits

Gaon ki Beti Scheme
The Department of Higher Education offers the gaon ki beti scheme in Madhya Pradesh. The applications are tentatively opened throughout the year. The gaon ki beti scheme is available to female students who have cleared the XII board exam. It aims to empower young girls in rural areas by helping them pursue higher education.

The candidates applying for the Nishant Jan MP scholarship should fulfil the following requirements:
- They should be a native of Madhya Pradesh.
- The applicants should be at least 40% disabled.
- They should be studying in an institution recognised by the government.
- The candidates should not benefit from any other schemes such as fee exemption, travel allowance, subsistence allowance, etc.
- If a student fails a semester or a class, they will not receive the tuition fee, travel allowance and subsistence allowance while repeating that year or semester. However, they will continue to receive the benefits after they clear the re-examination and continue studying in the next semester or academic year.

The state government offers the candidates' course fees, transport charges and subsistence fees to the selected students. In addition, they will offer financial assistance as per the norms of the government.
Awas Sahayata Schemes
The State government of Maharashtra provides the awas sahayata scheme to the SC and ST students. According to this MP scholarship scheme, the government offers financial aid to students residing in rented houses. In addition, they offer housing allowances to the candidates every month to help them pursue their education without any financial hurdles.
The candidates can apply for housing assistance after they finish applying for the post-matric scholarship.
