The Samaj Kalyan Vibhag scholarship is an initiative of the Social Welfare Departments of the different states where the scholarship is being provided, such as Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand. The scholarship is awarded to students pursuing education at different pre-matric and post-matric levels. The primary goal of the scholarship is to support the needy and deserving underprivileged students to complete their education without any financial hassle. Samaj Kalyan Vibhag Scholarship for Uttar Pradesh Eligibility Criteria

The Social Welfare Department under the Government of Uttar Pradesh awards scholarships to the students who are domicile of Uttar Pradesh state. The other eligibility criteria for the scholarship application are given below:

Post-matric (Other than Intermediate) scholarship for SC/ ST/ General Category students, Uttar Pradesh	The applicant should be pursuing graduation, postgraduation, Ph.D., or higher-level education. He/ she should belong to the SC/ ST/ General category. The annual family income of the General category candidate should not exceed INR 2,00,000 from all sources. The annual family income of the SC/ ST category applicant should not exceed INR 2,50,000 from all sources.
4.	Post-matric (Other State) scholarship for SC/ ST/ General Category students, Uttar Pradesh	Students of class 11 or above can apply. He/ she should belong to the SC/ ST/ General category. The annual family income of the General category candidate should not exceed INR 2,00,000 from all sources. The annual family income of the SC/ ST category applicant should not exceed INR 2,50,000 from all sources.

Different scholarships under the Samaj Kalyan Vibhag Uttar Pradesh scholarship scheme provide variable scholarship benefits for the deserving students based on the class in which they are pursuing education and category. The scholarship provided also depends on the individual financial need of the candidates.

Samaj Kalyan Vibhag Scholarship for Uttar Pradesh Application Process

The scholarship application is done online through the UP Samaj Kalyan Vibhag scholarship portal. The stepwise application procedure is given below:

Step 1: Student Registration

Visit the UP Government Scholarship portal.
Then, click on the ‘Student’ tab and click on ‘Registration’.
A new scholarship web page is displayed; select the preferred scholarship.
Then, fill in all the mandatory details and click the ‘Submit’ button to register.
A printout of the registration slip should be taken for future reference.

Step 2: Scholarship Portal Login

After successful registration, go to the ‘Student’ tab on the dashboard and click the ‘Login’ option.
Select ‘Fresh Student Login’ for fresh applications and ‘Renewal Student Login’ for renewal applications for the Samaj Kalyan Vibhag Uttar Pradesh scholarship.
Then log in to the portal using the registration number, date of birth, and password.
The candidate is redirected to a page containing all the important instructions for completing the scholarship application form.
Read all the instructions carefully, tick the box at the end of the page, and then click ‘Proceed’.

Step 3: Scholarship Application Filling and Submission

The applicant is now redirected to the user dashboard.
They should click on the ‘fill in the application form’ section.
Next, fill in all the details in the Samaj Kalyan Vibhag scholarship for Uttar Pradesh application form and click on ‘Submit’.
Upload the photograph and all other supporting documents along with the application form.
Before the final submission, the candidate should go through all the details entered in the application form and make any changes if necessary. No changes can be made after the final submission of the scholarship application form.

3.	Dr. Ambedkar Post-matric scholarship for EBC students, Rajasthan	The applicant should be a domicile of Rajasthan belonging to the General category under the Economically Backward Class (EBC). He/ she should be pursuing education from class 11 to Post graduation level. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 1,00,000 from all sources.
4.	Dr. Ambedkar Post-matric scholarship for DNT students, Rajasthan	The applicant should be a domicile of Rajasthan belonging to the Denotified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic Tribe (DNT) category. He/ she should be enrolled in a Government/ Government recognized educational institution. The candidate should be pursuing recognized post-matric level courses from class 11 to post-graduation level. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 2,00,000 from all sources.
5.	Mukhya Mantri Sarvjan Uchha Shiksha Chhatravriti Yojana, Rajasthan	The candidate should be a domicile of Rajasthan. He/ she should be pursuing education at top-level National institutions as regular full-time students. The candidate should have completed class 12 with at least 60% marks and should be classified under the top 1 lakh Merit list. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 5,00,000 from all sources.

Samaj Kalyan Vibhag Scholarship for Rajasthan Rewards and Benefits

The scholarship benefits provided by the different schemes under the Samaj Kalyan Vibhag scholarship for Rajasthan are given below:

The candidates selected under the Mukhya Mantri Sarvjan Uchha Shiksha Chhatravriti Yojana, Rajasthan, get INR 5000 annually.

The application process for the scholarship is online through the Rajasthan Samaj Kalyan Vibhag scholarship portal. The step by step application process is given below:

Step 1: Registration

The interested applicants should visit the SJE Rajasthan Scholarship Portal.
They should click on the ‘New Scholarship Portal’ and then on the ‘Sign up/ Register’ button.
The Rajasthan single sign-on page is displayed. The candidate should click on the ‘Citizen’ tab.
The applicant should now select one of the options from Bhamashah, Aadhar, Facebook, Google+ or Twitter to start the registration process.
The student should create an SSOID and password and click on ‘Register’ to complete the registration.

Step 2: SJE Account Login

The applicant should visit the sign-in page of Rajasthan single sign-on and log in using the SSOID and password.

Step 3: Applying for the Samaj Kalyan Vibhag Rajasthan scholarship scheme under the SJE Scholarship

After a successful login, the first step is to update the user profile by filling in all the required information.
After completing the profile update, the user is directed to the user dashboard that contains multiple digital options.
The applicant should click on ‘Scholarships’ to start the scholarship application process.
A dialog box pops up and the user should select ‘Student’ and proceed.
The candidate should fill in all the details in the application and upload all the supporting documents.
Finally, the applicant should recheck all the data entered and click on ‘Submit’ to complete the application process.

The candidate should have passed the last qualifying examination. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 44,500 from all sources.
5.	Pre-matric Disability scholarship under State Sector, Uttarakhand	Disabled students pursuing studies from class 1-10 from a recognized school within/ outside Uttarakhand are eligible to apply. They should have passed the last qualifying examination. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 24,000 from all sources.
6.	Post-matric scholarship for EBC students, Uttarakhand	Applicants pursuing studies at the post-matric level i.e. from class 11 to postdoctoral level are eligible to apply. They should be pursuing studies from an institution/ university recognized by the Government. The candidate should belong to the EBC category. Students pursuing distance learning/ correspondence are also eligible to apply. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 1,00,000 from all sources.
7.	Pre-matric scholarship for Minority students (100% under State Sector), Uttarakhand	The applicant should belong to one of the Minority classes such as Muslim, Christianity, Jain, Parsi, Sikh, and Buddhism. They should be pursuing studies from classes 1-10. The candidate should have passed the last qualifying examination. The annual family income of the applicant should be less than twice the current income slab of BPL (Below Poverty Line).

7.	Pre-matric scholarship for Minority students (100% under State Sector), Uttarakhand	Scholarship amount of INR 50 per month for up to 12 months for class 1-5 students. Scholarship amount of INR 80 per month for up to 12 months for class 6-8 students. INR 120 per month for up to 12 months to class 9 and 10 students.

The application process is done online through the Uttarakhand Scholarship Portal (USP). The application procedure is explained below:

Interested applicants should visit the Uttarakhand Scholarship Portal.
They should select the pre-matric or post-matric scholarship option on the homepage.
The applicant should register on the portal by entering details such as full name, mobile number, valid email id, password, etc and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
After successful registration, the candidate should log in to the portal using the username and password created.
The applicant can access the scholarship application form and should fill in details such as academic details, caste/ income certificate details, registration number of the candidate in the current institute, and aadhar number and attach all the supporting documents along with the application.
The candidate should verify all the entered details for correctness and click on ‘Submit’ to complete the application process.
A printout of the submitted application form should be taken and submitted to the respective college/ institute along with all the supporting documents.
