Siksha Abhiyan Scholarship

Siksha Abhiyan scholarship is an exam conducted by Modi Foundation to give opportunities to 8th to 12th class students. Its main motive is to support the students financially and encourage them to study. In order to avail of the benefits of the scholarship scheme, the candidate must fulfil the required eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

Specific eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by all the students who want to apply for this scholarship. The following describes the Siksha Abhiyan scholarship eligibility criteria.

• Students must be studying in classes 8th to 12th.
• Indian students from Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and West UP states can apply for this scholarship.

Rewards

Students are given the  All India Rank, according to which they are awarded the scholarship amounts. This scholarship also includes a 5% to 100% tuition fee waiver according to the student's brilliance. Students must submit their proof of tuition fee prior, according to which mostly the scholarship is decided after the marks secured by the students in the exams of class X/XII. There are many factors according to which the student is selected for the Siksha Abhiyan scholarship. The below table describes different scholarship amounts which the students can receive.  

 How to Apply?

Applicants interested in this scholarship can apply by visiting the official online portal. Students may refer to the below procedure if they want to apply for this scholarship.

Step 1: Visit the official website of this scholarship.

Step 2: After visiting the website, look for the scholarship link present in the menu bar on the homepage itself.

Step 3: Go through the eligibility criteria mentioned first, and proceed if you fulfil that.

Step 4: Now, candidates must carefully fill out the Siksha Abhiyan scholarship application form.

Step 5: Upload all the necessary documents along with the Siksha Abhiyan scholarship application form.

Step 6: Preview your application and then submit it.

Step 7: After submitting it, make an online payment through the link and take a printout for future reference.

Documents Required

Students must submit authentic scanned copies of the required documents when applying. A list of the required documents is listed below. 

• Signed loan application form
• Study cost statement
• 2 recent passport size photographs
• Admission letter
• IT returns or IT assessment order of the previous two years of the co-borrower
• Statement of assets and liabilities of parent/guardian
• PAN card, aadhar card of student and parent/guardian
• Proof of identity
• Parent/guardian income
