The AP EDCET entrance exam is administered by Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupati on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

AP B.Ed Admission: Eligibility Criteria
The AP B.Ed eligibility criteria are listed below.
- Candidates must have passed both the 10th and 12th grades from a recognized board or institution.
- Candidates must be citizens of India.
- Candidates must have obtained at least 50% (or 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) in their final year under-graduation exams.
- Candidates must be at least 19 years old by July 1, 2025, to take the test. There is no maximum age limit.
- Candidates for course admission must also pass the B.Ed common entrance test, often known as the AP EDCET examination.

AP B.Ed Admission: Entrance Exam
In Andhra Pradesh, one of the most popular B.Ed exams is the AP EDCET. This two-hour test consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, with each correct response worth one mark and no penalty marks for erroneous ones.
The exam covers topics like general English, teaching aptitude, general knowledge, and methodology. While the examination is usually delivered in English and Telugu, except for the English methodology component, candidates can request that the exam be administered in Urdu. In such circumstances, they should select Kurnool as their preferred testing location.

Following the announcement of the results, candidates will be notified about the AP B.Ed counseling. Officials publish information about courses offered, seats, admission schedules, and counselling fees on the official website.
Candidates must register online for admission and submit an application to the college of their choosing. Following that, candidates are invited for an interview. Selected candidates must pay the registration money online and report to the college with their allotment letter.
