- The application process is in two steps.
- First candidates need to register themselves on the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP).
- Once this is done, the next step is to fill in the application form for M.Tech on the official website of IIT Bhubaneswar.

IIT Bhubaneswar M.Tech Admission Process 2024
It is important to know the admission process so that there are no last-minute mishaps. We have realised this concern and thus have provided the admission process for various M.Tech courses at IIT Bhubaneswar.
- Candidates who are applying via GATE will be shortlisted and eligible for further rounds only upon clearing the GATE cutoff released by the Institute.
- All candidates will have to appear and clear the suitability test/ Individual written test and personal interview rounds conducted by IIT Bhubaneswar.
- Candidates from the unreserved category will be eligible for the personal interview round only upon securing a minimum of 40% marks in the written test.
- Candidates from the unreserved category will be eligible for final selection only upon scoring a minimum of 50% of the maximum marks in the personal interview round.
- IIT B.tech graduates with a CGPA of 8.00 out of 10 are eligible for direct admission without a GATE score.
- Sponsored candidates need to have 3 years of work experience in the sponsoring organization and a valid GATE score.
