• NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 Exam Dates. The first session exam dates are January 22 to January 31, 2025, and the second session is scheduled from April 1 to April 8, 2025.
• The last date to register for JEE Main 2025 is November 22, 2024. Interested students must visit jeemain.nta.nic.in. 
• IIT JAM 2025 exam will be conducted on February 02, 2025, for admission to the M.Sc program.

IIT Ropar was set up in 2008 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. It is one of the 23 IITs in India under the Institutes of Technology Act, 1961. It is one of the 8 new IITs and got its stature as an autonomous institute of national importance in 2011 after the amendment in the IIT Act. Its permanent campus covers 525 acres and features Indus Valley Civilization architecture. The institute has been given the highest Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment (GRIHA) rating, the rating given to a building based on its long-term performance.

The institute ranked 48th overall in the NIRF 2024 rankings. NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 exam dates. The Session 1 exam will be conducted between January 22 and January 31, 2025. The last date to register for JEE Main 2025 is November 22, 2024.

IIT Ropar Admission

Indian Institute of Technology [IIT], Ropar admission 2025 will soon begin; just like all the other IITs, it will be purely based on the marks and merit of the students. The admission processes in all the courses in the institute are carried out online after the interested candidates appear for an appropriate eligibility test like JEE/ JAM/ GATE. The candidate also must pay the required fees to apply online.

IIT Ropar Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology.

• Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant stream.
• Candidates must have a valid GATE Score.

PhD Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a master's degree in a relevant field with 60% marks.
• Candidates must have a valid GATE/ IIT JAM/ UGC-JRF/ NET/ CSIR-JRF/NBHM or equivalent exam score, as per the specialization's specific requirements.

IIT Ropar placements 2024 are ongoing. So far, the average package offered during the 2024 IIT Ropar BTech placements was INR 22.09 LPA. In addition, IIT Ropar's average package for the 2024 postgraduate placements was INR 11.96 LPA. The placement rate for IIT Ropar's 2024 postgraduate placements was 55.94%. Additionally, 73.49% of candidates were placed during the 2024 IIT Ropar BTech placements.
