Academics & Faculty : IIT Ropar is one of the fast growing new iit with extravagent academics and well to do practical approach of all courses. It has good teacher student ratio of 1:8 and above par academics covering every aspects needed for the well developed engineer. The faculty in IIT Ropar matches the well educated personalities pursued their Phd from foreign universities or IISc, thus firming the academics of IIT Ropar.

Fees & Scholarships : College fee for IITs has increased last year only. It is Rs.52,150 per semester plus mess fees of Rs.17000. Though 1/6th(nearly 17%) of the students from each batch receive scholarship based on their academics and family incomes. There is a good financial aid available from SBI and even for the category students, academics help a lot.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Classroms are well furnished with some of them have the facility of National Knowledge Network(NKN). Even some of the classrooms have air conditioning facilities and all of the above full campus and hostels have the facility of WiFi and LAN. Library is well furnished with every category of books. Our campus has the bus for the tarnsport facilty and cycles for the students to move with the campus.

Clubs & Associations : There has been a variety of clubs fully active such as Dramatics club which had won competitions at various colleges and photography club, sports club etc. IIT Ropar has been the member of Enactus(worldwide organisation) too. Sports facility have been fully developed here except pool, swimming, all sports activities are well established.
