TS ICET 2024 Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Before the counseling process, candidates are required to check the eligibility criteria. The list below mentions the eligibility criteria.

• Candidates must be citizens of India and residents of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh.
• Candidates must have completed their graduation from a recognized university or equivalent.
• For general category candidates, the minimum marks required is 50% and for reserved category candidates a minimum of 45% in aggregate is required.
• Minority students (Muslim/ Christian) who are not able to clear TS ICET 2024 or are not able to score 50% and 45% (other category candidates) will only be considered for admission to the participating colleges if only there are leftover seats in minority colleges.

TS ICET 2024 Counselling Process

The minimum requirement to participate in the TS ICET counselling is 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% for reserved categories. Based on the merit list seats are allocated.

85% of seats are reserved for the Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh candidates and the rest 15% for other candidates. Counselling involves various processes. Listed below is the step-by-step process:

1. Registration
   • Visit the official website.
   • Click on the ‘Payment of processing fee’ tab.
   • Enter the registration number printed in the hall ticket for counseling registration.
   • A form asking for personal information will appear on the screen, fill that up.
   • Next pay the registration fee (Rs. 1,200 for General Category and Rs. 600 for Reserved Category).
2. Verification of Documents
   • After the successful registration, verification of documents takes place. The documents required are:
   • TS ICET 2024 admit card and Rank Card.
   • Passing degree/ certificate.
   • Candidate’s Aadhaar card.
   • Intermediate or equivalent passing certificate/ mark sheet.
   • Degree provisional passing certificate.
   • Transfer certificate (TC).
   • School certificate from class IX to a degree.
   • Entry Option: after the successful completion of verification of documents, candidates can choose the college of their choice. 
3. Seat Allotment
   • After selecting the center, the final seat allotment will be made on the basis of the Merit list and availability of seats apart from the candidate’s choice.
   • Reporting and Payment of Fee: after allocation of the seats, candidates need to pay the fee amount. Then click on ‘Accept my joining’. After this admission number will be generated, which will appear on the screen and candidates need to take a printout and submit along the allotment letter at the college opted.
