CMRTC, or CMR Technical Campus, is a private engineering college in Kandalkoya, Hyderabad. CMRTC, established in 2009, is a UGC-recognized college offering undergraduate courses in Engineering and postgraduate courses in Engineering and Management. Admissions to CMRTC are based on state and national- level entrance exams such as TS-EAMCET, GATE and ICET. 

CMRTC is affiliated with JNTUH Hyderabad, and NBA approved. In 2021, CMR Technical Campus ranked in the 201-250 band in the NIRF Rankings and 51-75 in the ARIIA Rankings 2020. CMRTC has many research facilities and 11 research centres that contribute to nation-building. CMRTC has a motto, Think Placements Think CMRTC. CMR Technical Campus has witnessed over 4700 offers since its inception. In 2021-2022, more than 860 placements were made, and the highest package offered was INR 15 LPA.

CMRTC Courses

CMRTC offers six undergraduate and three postgraduate courses in Engineering and one postgraduate course Management. CMRTC offers these courses in full-time and regular format. CMRTC Departments

CMRTC has nine departments that conduct the academic activities at the college. The departments are well equipped with all latest technologies to provide best education to students.

CMRTC Admission

CMRTC admission 2024 will commence in October. CMRTC offers admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering and Management. These include BTech, MTech and MBA. 

• The BTech course is offered across six specializations, CSE, ECE, and the total intake capacity is 1020.
• The MTech course is offered in two specializations and the intake capacity is 36.
• The intake capacity for MBA is 180.

CMRTC Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for admission at CMRTC, the students must meet the eligibility criteria laid down by the college. The college can cancel a student's candidature if they do not meet the eligibility criteria.

BTech Eligibility Criteria

• A student must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognized by the Government of Telangana as its equivalent.
• The student must appear for the TS-EAMCET examination.

MTech Eligibility Criteria

• A student must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology of Any Recognized University in the concerned discipline.
• Or AMIE/AMIETE or similar qualifications recognized by UPSC as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech.
• The student must appear for the GATE Examination.

MBA Eligibility Criteria

• A student must have bachelors degree in any field with 45% marks in aggregate.
• Must have qualified in INCET examination.

CMRTC Cutoff

CMRTC cutoff 2022 has been released. The cutoff is released individually for the EAMCET, INCET and GATE exam. The cutoffs depend on the average performance of the students, past year cutoffs and intake capacity. The cutoff is succeeded by counselling and then admission.

CMRTC has a separate training and placement centre which was started in 2011 and caters to the career related needs of the students. Since its inception, more than 4700 offers have been made. CMRTC Faculty

CMRTC has a strength of 238 teachers. CMRTC holds pride in its human capital and maintains a faculty-student ratio of 1:15. 30% of the faculty members hold Phd degrees, and 100% are JNTU ratified. The faculty has published over 800 research articles, has 60+ patents and won 78 awards at the national level. The CMRTC faculty has grants from the Government of India and private agencies worth INR 5 crores. The faculty is highly skilled and hold an average teaching experience of 10 years.
