Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology was set up in 1997 by Dr R. Natarajan, the then IIT Madras Director. SNIST is a technical institute located in Hyderabad, Telangana. It is promoted by the Sree Educational Society. Sreenidhi is the first engineering college among 191 engineering colleges affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University [JNTU] to be accredited by NBA. It has received world bank assistance under TEQIP.

SNIST was set up in 1997 as a not-for-profit university run by Sreenidhi Educational Group of the Sree Group of Industries and approved by UGC. SNIST Admission

Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST), Hyderabad admission 2022-23 is under process. Candidates can visit the official website of the institute for more details. Candidates, fulfilling the eligibility criteria, can apply online through the official website of the institute via its admission portal. The college considers various entrance exams like JEE Mains, TS EAMCET, GATE, TS PGECET, CAT, ECET and ICET for admission to various courses.

SNIST Eligibility Criteria 

SNIST has set up different criteria for admission in different courses. The candidate must fulfil all the requirements for getting admission. The basic criteria for some courses are as follows

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 

• Students should have passed 10+2 with PCM as a compulsory subject and secure a minimum of 45% aggregate marks from a recognised board.
• The selection of candidates for the B.Tech course is based on the marks secured by the candidates in the EAMCET, ECET and JEE Mains exams.

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must hold B.E./B. Tech degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university.
• Candidates must have obtained a valid score in TS PGECET or GATE.

M.B.A Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline and have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university. 
• Candidates must have obtained a valid score in TS ICET or CAT.

SNIST Placements

Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology [SNIST], Hyderabad placements 2022 are over. The college has its corporate relations and placements, training department called as Career Development Centre (CDC) which aims to guide students to think in terms of careers where they can excel in their inherent potential. SNIST Scholarship

SNIST offers scholarships amounting to deserving students based on their academic records and financial status. First-year B.Tech, M.Tech and M.B.A. Students belonging to SC/ST/BC/EBC/DW categories can apply for tuition fee reimbursement at https://telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in. Students must meet the eligibility criteria for the scholarship and should upload the documents to claim tuition fee reimbursement. Candidates need to submit the following documents- SSC hall ticket number, year of pass, type of pass to access the application, aadhar card, caste certificate, income certificate, bank account statement, and latest passport size photograph.
