The CAT 2020 question paper with solutions will help the candidates prepare for the current year. Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted for admission to post graduate management programs offered by the IIMs and other prestigious management and business schools of India.

The CAT 2020 exam was conducted on Nov 29, 2020 by IIM Indore. The exam duration of the CAT 2020 exam was reduced from 3 hours to 2 hours and the number of questions were reduced from 100 to 76 because of the Covid 19 pandemic.

CAT 2020 Question Paper Pattern 

The usual CAT exam duration is three hours but due to the Covid 19 pandemic in 2020, the CAT 2020 examination duration was reduced to 2 hours.

The number of questions in the CAT 2020 question paper was reduced to 76 instead of the usual pattern of 100 questions. The following is the exam pattern of the CAT 2020 Question Paper.

CAT 2020 Question Paper Analysis 

The CAT 2020 exam was conducted across three slots and the question paper was different for each slot and he CAT 2020 examination was claimed to be extremely difficult. The following is the CAT 2020 question paper analysis. 

CAT 2020 Question Paper - Slot 1 

All three sections were found challenging and the most difficult section was VARC. The CAT 2020 slot 1 question paper had 57 MCQs and 19 descriptive questions. 

CAT 2020 Question Paper - Slot 2 

The slot 2 question paper was as complex as the question paper of slot 1. However, the DILR section which the slot 1 candidates found relatively easy when compared to VARC was difficult in slot 2. 

CAT 2020 Question Paper - Slot 3 

The slot 3 question paper was said to be the toughest of all three slots’ question papers both overall and section wise. The DILR section was the most difficult with tricky questions when compared to the other two sections. A candidate must have accurately attempted a minimum of 44 questions to score a percentile of 99.
