- SC, ST, SEBC, and PwD students will be given 5% relaxation.
- In the Master's program, SC, ST, SEBC, and PwD students need to secure 50% of aggregate marks to register for the GSET examination.
- Those from SC/ST/PwD categories will not be eligible for the same relaxations as transgender ones in the general or general EWS categories.
- Transgenders from the general category will also be eligible to receive the same relaxation as the SC/ST/PwD category.
- The exam caters primarily to those who are from the state of Gujarat. Those from other states registered won't receive the benefits of the reservation criteria. It means all from other states will be treated as a general category for the GSET examination.
