IPMAT Selection Procedure 2024 for Indian Candidates

The selection procedure of IPMAT 2024 is based on candidates' overall performance in the Aptitude Test (AT) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates must check the eligibility criteria and apply for registration within the last date. The elaborate IPMAT selection procedure 2024 is as follows:

Registration for IPMAT 2024

Candidates need to visit the official website to start the registration process. The steps to complete the registration are as follows:

• Visit the IIM Indore official website. 
• Next, check for the option ‘Apply for IPMAT 2024’ option.  
• The page redirects to the registration page. 
• Candidates must register by entering their names and other relevant information.
• Once the registration is complete, candidates receives a confirmation via email. 
• Candidates can use the registration link generated in the email to fill up the application form. 
• Pay the application fee for IPMAT 2024 exam through debit/ credit card or net banking. 
• Once the candidates have completed the application, they will receive the confirmation. 

Note: Students from the reserved category must upload relevant documents to prove their reservation.

Documents Required for IPMAT 2024 Registration

The following documents must be kept handy while applying for the IPMAT 2024 registration:

• Class 10th mark sheet
• Class 12th mark sheet
• Photograph and signature, both scanned 
• Scanned copy of the reservation certificate.

Appearing for the IPMAT Exam

The second step of the IPMAT selection procedure 2024 involves appearing for the online examination. 

• Candidates must note that they need to report to the allotted examination hall at the specified date and time. 
• The exam is held in an online mode for 120 minutes. 
• There will be 100 questions from three sections. 
• The questions will be in MCQ and short answer type. 

IPMAT Personal Interview (PI) 2024

PI round of the IPMAT selection procedure 2024 is created by considering the raw scores and the minimum mark in each of the three sections of the Aptitude Test. 

• The minimum cutoff marks vary yearly, and the admissions committee sets it. 
• Further, the minimum cutoff is based on the candidate's category they belong from.

• The candidates who are rejected receive a letter from the admissions committee.

IPMAT Generation of Provisional Merit List 2024

The IPMAT merit list 2024 is created for all eligible candidates from each category. The list is created by following the calculation process displayed in the table. 

• The merit list is based on the candidate’s performance in the PI round. 
• Candidates not meeting the minimum performance in any of the parameters are not considered for the next stage of IPMAT selection procedure 2024, i.e. Stage-5.

IPMAT Creation of Final Merit List 2024

The final merit list for IPMAT selection procedure 2024 is generated by considering the performance of the candidates in the previous four rounds. The merit list is created on the CS (Composite Scores). 

Further, admissions are offered based on the reservation of each category.

IPMAT Selection Procedure 2024 for International Candidates

IPMAT selection procedure 2024 for international candidates is held if they qualify for the eligibility criteria. Candidates must be born on or after August 01, 2003. Further, they must have passed their 10th and 12th examination. 

Additionally, they must possess a valid SAT scorecard with a minimum score of 1300 out of 1600 in SAT (SAT scores obtained from November 1, 2022, to June 15, 2024).

Fill Up the IPMAT Application Form 2024

Candidates who satisfy the IPMAT eligibility criteria can proceed to fill up the application form. 

• The application form can be downloaded through the official website. 
• Candidates need to first register themselves and then proceed to the application form. 
• They must attach all the relevant documents and SAT scores. 
• Pay the application fee for the IPMAT.

IPMAT Generation of Merit List and PI

Candidates are shortlisted for the PI (Personal Interview) round based on the scores on the merit list generated by the SAT scores. 

• Candidates who will qualify for the PI round are sent a mail informing them about the dates. 
• A regret letter are sent to the candidates who are rejected. 
• Candidates must consistently perform to proceed further in the IPMAT selection procedure 2024. 

IPMAT Formulation of Final Merit List

Candidates satisfying the previous IPMAT selection procedure 2024 can locate their names in the final merit list. Similar to the Indian selection process, the merit list is generated on the Composite Score (CS), and provisional admission offers are made accordingly, adhering to the approved intake norms for International applicants.
