The JEE Advanced brochure 2024 PDF was published on Dec 2, 2023. Every year, JEE Advanced exam is organised for admission to the IITs. The seven participating IITs are IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Roorkee or Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore.

JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria 2024
Every exam has its eligibility criteria. For the JEE Advanced, some minimum criteria need to be fulfilled to secure admission. Listed below are the eligibility criteria for admission through JEE Advanced 2024.
- You have to score a minimum of 75% in your board examination or rank among the top 20 percentile in the Class XII examination.
- You must have passed Class XII in the year 2022 or 2024 to apply for admission in 2024.
- If you belong to the general category, your birth year should be on or after 1 October 1997. If you appear from the reserved category (SC/ST/PwD), you will have five years of age relaxation.
- Another important factor for eligibility is that you must have qualified for the JEE Main. Your merit rank should be among the top 2.5 lakh.
- To take admissions in the IITs, you should meet the cutoff set by the individual institutes.
- You are only allowed to appear two times in two consecutive years for the JEE Advanced.
JEE Advanced Admission Process 2024
For admission in JEE Advanced 2024, follow the steps mentioned below. It will help you understand the procedure of admission.
- Step 1- The first step for admission is to register for the JEE Advanced. Fill up the necessary details and click on ‘register now.’
- Step 2- As soon as you register, you will fill up the application form. Fill in all the required details and select the examination zone according to your choice.
- Step 3- As soon as the admit cards are released, you can download them by entering the details needed.
- Step 4- After the examination is conducted for the JEE Advanced and the results are declared, you will view your results on the IIT Delhi website as IIT Delhi, under the guidance of JAB, will be conducting the JEE Advanced for the year 2024. It is also entrusted with the responsibility of releasing the exam results.
- Step 5- Once you rank in the qualifying list of the JEE Advanced, you will be able to start the admission process.
