INI CET also known as the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test is by conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Students seeking admission to MS, MD, MDS, and DM courses must appear for INI CET. Only those students shall be eligible for the further rounds of admission who clear the INI CET cutoff. It is a national-level exam conducted twice a year. INI CET Medical Colleges 2024

There are a total of 22 colleges that give admission to students based on INI CET. Candidates can check the list of medical colleges under INI CET 2024 along with the number of seats and MD fees.

INI CET Eligibility Criteria 2024

After knowing the list of medical colleges under INI CET 2024, students must check out the INI CET eligibility conditions given below. 

Eligibility Criteria for INI CET Indian Nationals

• Applicants for the INI CET exam must be MBBS graduates of an Indian university that has been accredited by the Medical Council of India or the National Medical Commission.
• Applicants for MDS programs must be BDS graduates of an Indian university accredited by the Dental Council of India.
• By July 31, 2024, at the latest, applicants must have finished the required 12-month rotational internship.
• Candidates from the General, OBC, and EWS categories must have received a minimum of 55% of the possible points overall, while candidates from the SC/ST categories must have received a minimum of 50% of the possible points overall.
• Candidates for PWD must meet the minimum aggregate standards listed for each of their categories.

Eligibility Criteria for INI CET Foreign Nationals

• Candidates must possess an MBBS degree in order to apply for MD/MS/DM/MCh courses, while a BDS degree is necessary for MDS courses.
• On or before July 31, 2024, candidates must have finished the required 12-month rotational internship.
• To convert grades into percentages, applicants must receive a grading system certificate from their individual university or institution. Before the deadline, the computed marks must be entered into the "Marks Column" of the INI-CET 2024 application.
• Eligibility criteria require applicants to have a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent in all MBBS/BDS professional examinations.
• Foreign National candidates must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The NOC should be submitted to the Examination Section within the specific dates.
• For Foreign National seats, candidates who are Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) may apply. OCI applicants do not need to receive a NOC; nevertheless, they do need to upload a scanned copy of their OCI card before the deadline.

INI CET Admission Process 2024

Since students now know the list of medical colleges under INI CET 2024, they must also check out the application process for INI CET. 

Step 1: Process of Application

• It consists of the registration process, basic candidate data, EUC generation, and application completion.
• Make sure to upload the required documents and, if applicable, valid card while completing the application form on the portal. The documentation needed varies based on your category and country of origin.

Step 2: Examination

• The INI CET examination phase consists of the release of the admit card followed by a computer-based exam along with the declaration of results. After that, students need to choose the college of their choice for the INI CET counselling process. 

Step 3: Allocation of Seats

• The stage covers the counseling process for each round, i.e., the first, second, and mock rounds. Additional rounds, open rounds, and spot rounds are also held based on the requirements.

IN CET Counselling 2024

Students who obtain the cutoff marks are eligible to take part in the counselling round for the list of medical colleges under INI CET. INI CET counselling 2024 is expected to begin in June 2024. The counselling process involves several rounds which include registration for the AIIMS counselling which takes place on the official website. Students need to fill out their choice of college along with the specialisation of their choice. Then, the allocation of seats is done for INI CET counselling 2024.
