As per the latest update, the NLSIU (National Law School of Indian University) Bangalore has issued a revised admission notice. It includes provisions regarding the university's new reservation policy and the seat matrix. The NLSIU Bangalore seats reservation considers the following categories for the seat matrix reservation.

• SC (Scheduled Caste)
• ST (Scheduled Tribes)
• General

NLSIU CLAT New Reservation Policy 2023

By introducing the "Karnataka Student" category, NLSIU Bangalore has been included in the NLU list that provides residence/state reservations for admission to law courses. The new reservation policy has made some significant changes to the NLSIU Bangalore seats distribution. However, the total number of seats in NLSIU Bangalore has not changed. 

• According to the revised notice, the NLSIU Bangalore announced that it would provide students in Karnataka with a 25% level split booking.
• NLSIU Bangalore will continue to accept 120 students in the BA LLB (Hons) course and 50 students in the LLM course. 
• According to the update, almost all remaining NLUs offer seats under the national quota/residence category, except Jodhpur National Law University and Delhi National Law University.
