The Acharya Scholarship

Each year, the college awards merit-based scholarships to graduating high school seniors. Through three scholarship programmes, one of which is specifically for international students, the Acharya scholarships support around 1,400 college students each year, with yearly awards of US $ 1.5 million.

Acharya One World Scholarship

International students who demonstrate academic excellence are eligible for the Acharya scholarship programme. The Acharya Institute of Technology offers scholarships to students from Bhutan, Namibia, Nepal, Rwanda, Zambia, and Tanzania. In addition, various governments and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) give these scholarships.

Fees & Scholarships : My course fee was 6 lacs for 2 years. There were some entrance exams like PGCET for scholarship. 40% of the students get scholarship. Yes, loan is needed. I got it from SBI and it can be easily availed.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : MAT score is compulsory for admission in AIT. Entrance exam was MAT for admission. Cut off was 70%.

Placements & Internships : I had done internship at Dabur. It was a stipend based internship in Sales and Marketing. Average salary offered by companies that come for campus selection is 5,50,000. Per year 80% of the students get placed. Alumni network is quite good.

Academics & Faculty : Daily 5-6 hours classes are held including projects, exam, tests and assignments. Quality of teaching is very good and methods are unique. It helps students to understand the lessons easily. My experience was great.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostels for boys are seperate and for girls are seperate. Hostels fees was 2 lacs per annum including food. Food in college was very good. It was as reasonable as 50 rupees per plate. Quality of classrooms, labs libraries, dining halls, and other key infrastructure like auditorium was great and wi-fi enabled.

Clubs & Associations : Stadium, auditorium, open gym, clubs and all the infrastructure related to fitness is there in AIT. Freshers' party, senior farewell and college anniversary and all the religious festivals are celebrated in the college. Life in college was very good.

Fees & Scholarships : Course fee: 70,000 - 2,00,000 per year (it depends on the quota you have gotten admission). There are no scholarships available from college, but one can apply for the state and central government scholarships. If required, educational loan can be taken at banks.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Entrance exams: CET, COMETK. One can get admission through management quota as well. Cutoffs varies every year.

Placements & Internships : I have done Internships in the below organizations: 1) Throttle Aerospace Pvt Ltd 2) Jet Aerospace Pvt Ltd Companies that come for campus hiring: IT, Marketing, Sales, core(Aeronautical).

Academics & Faculty : In total there will be 4 year, 8 semesters. Class timings will be 9am to 6pm (it varies also) from Monday to Friday. There will be 3 internal assessment, per semester and 1 sem exam for semester. Pre final year and final year projects will be there. Quality and method of teaching: It's very good. Overall Experience: One of the best colleges for Aeronautical Engineering. Had a very good experience.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are separate hostels for girls and boys. Hostel fees needs to be paid per year(80,000 - 1,50,000 per year). There are many PG's and rooms available near college, which will be available at a cost of 5000-10000 per month. Food in the college is pretty good. Infrastructure: 5/5 Well equipped labs, a very good central library.

Clubs & Associations : There are different societies/ clubs/ association (dance, sports, NCC, etc). Sports: Acharya premium league, Acharya football league etc. Habba is the college's main fest, one of the biggest college fest in Bangalore Life in college. Excellent.

Fees & Scholarships : The fee is about 6 LPA for MBA however there are many scholarships that a student can opt for I am not sure if the college itself offers any scholarships, but I took loan from bank and finished my studies

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I took MAT and I cleared the cutoff which was enough to get admission for my course, the admission procedure was fairly simple and the staff were really helpful.

Placements & Internships : I didn't take up any interviews, but there were many companies that came and the placement percentage was high when I was there.

Academics & Faculty : I enjoyed my college life, the faculty was helpful and the overall experience was satisfactory, I would recommend this college for anyone willing to put in the efforts

Academics & Faculty : •classes timing are from 9 am to 5 pm, in that 20min for a tea break and 45 min for lunch •Quality and method of teaching is good but not excellent. We can say that it's average. •My experience at this college is very awesome. As the campus is very good, I liked its infrastructure.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : •4-5 hostels are there for both boys and girls. Everything is good in hostels(food, rooms and other facilities). Hostel fees are from 75k to 1.5L per year •There are very good and more numbers of PGs are available near the college. PG costs are nearly 6-7k and more according to facilities. •Around colleges, many mini-restaurants are there where you can get all types of foods. Its cost varies from 50-150₹. •Overall classrooms, labs, libraries, wifi are all up to the marks. As infrastructure is good at this college, especially I can say that the Library is awesome.

Clubs & Associations : •All societies, clubs, and associations of the students are good. •The main fest is an annual fest of college(ie. Habba) and also all departmental fests are organized. •Life in college is very good, you can't feel bored in the college campus.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I got lateral entry in 2nd year after completing my 3 years of Diploma course with 75%. I got direct admission into BE.
