AKGEC Campus Facilities
The AKGEC has a wide range of facilities provided to students. Some of these are mentioned below:
Classrooms: Well organised and furnished classrooms, as well as digital boards, are installed in every class to make sure a student must have a better learning experience.
Library: Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College has a fully furnished library consists of a central library, 8 departmental libraries, and 5 hostel libraries. The Central Library has a rich collection of over 80577 books in various disciplines, 165 national journals in print form, 3946 online e-journals etc.
Hostel: Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College has six campus hostels spread over three complexes namely, the Girls Hostel Complex, the Junior Boys Hostel Complex and the Senior Boys Hostel Complex. Each hostel complex has its separate mess. Facilities like canteen, gym, sports, coffee vending machines, provision stores for a minor item of the daily requirement are also available within the hostels.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Infrastructure is the thing that I like the most in college. Very much greenery is there all around. Canteen food is nice.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The student should have a minimum score of 65% in class 12th. The college gives admission directly on 12th basis and JEE Mains score. 85% seats are filled with JEE mains score and 15% seats are filled with the direct admission procedure .
Placements & Internships : Placements of this college is quite good. Highest package this year was 1.2 crore per anum which was an off campus placement. Average package for campus placements lies between 12-14 LPA. Highest campus placement package this year was 28 LPA given by Amazon and 2 other companies.
Fees & Scholarships : The fees for B.tech is 1.44 lakh per year and 1.2 lakhs in the fourth year. Students can avail scholarships provided by the UP government.
Academics & Faculty : The college starts from 8:30 am and ends at 4:00 pm. All the faculties are supportive and helpful. They also clear doubt by taking online classes.
Clubs & Associations : Societies are the only option for fun in AKGEC. As there is no annual event, neither any function that are held. There are both cultural and technical societies which you can join by your 2nd semester.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : When you enter the campus of AKGEC, you come to know that the infrastructure of the college is very different from others because it is constructed with German design. The first year hostel is in the structure of 8 and has 5 floors. Although the hostel fee is quite high the quality of food you get is better. Also, the college is located on the highway but outside the main city, so there is a calm environment for the students.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : For the admission in AKGEC, you have two options; one is through management quota and the other through entrance exam. Since it always remains in the top three list of private colleges in U.P, so you need to score very well in the entrance exam (UPTU) to get the college i.e under 7,000 ranks for general category. Also if you want to enter through management quota, you need to have 90% and above in PCM.
Clubs & Associations : There are several societies in college for different branches and different activities. But one can't ignore the fact that every deserving person is not selected in that because of the politics in that. The members of societies get some extra marks in academics that is why everyone wants to enter by anyway. Every year tech, cultural and sports fest are organized in college but very famous personalities are generally not called. But in that, you will come to know that you are around some very talented students.
