About Krishna Engineering College, [KEC] Ghaziabad:

Krishna Institute of Engineering & Technology (KIET) was established in 1998 by Krishna Charitable Society at Ghaziabad, U.P. It is located at 13 KM Stone on Ghaziabad – Meerut Road. The Institute now has 5003 students on its rolls in 2013-14: a substantial growth in 15 years to meet the need of quality technical education in U.P., as also to ensure their overall growth as responsible professionals and global citizens. The Institute offers B.Tech Degree courses in seven disciplines CSE,ECE,EN,IT,ME,CE & EI and M.Tech in four disciplines i.e CS,EC,EN,ME,MCA,MBA & Pharmacy (B.Pharm & M.Pharm) Courses to meet varied aspirations of the students.The Institute continues to be preferred destination for students seeking admission through UPSEE Counseling and the Management Quota. With top 5 percent of the engineering aspirants of Uttar Pradesh who appeared for the UPSEE, preferred KIET over other Institutions.All our B.Tech, MBA, MCA & B.Pharm programmes have been accredited by NBA. Also, KIET is accredited by NAAC (An autonomous Institution of the UGC) with “A” Grade for 5 Years.

Eligibility Criteria:

• For admission to the first year of MBA in any institution affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, a candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of three years minimum duration from any recognized Indian University; or its equivalent, recognized by A.I.U securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.
• For admission to the first year of MCA in any institution affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, a candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of three years minimum duration from any recognized Indian University; or its equivalent, recognized by A.I.U. securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate. Candidate must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level.
• The fees for the courses are different as the field of study.

Admission Procedure:

• Seats under Different Schemes:
• Through UPSEE: 65% seats of total approved intake will be filled through UPSEE Counselling.
• Through CMAT: 20% of the total sanctioned seats (as permitted by State Govt.) will be filled, on the basis of latest CMAT-2016 merit, by University through Counselling.
• Through Management Quota: The Concerned candidate has to apply online through institute’s website. After getting shortlisted, on the basis of his graduation percentage, the candidate will be offered admission only after qualifying the personal interview.

Hostel details at KIET:

• KIET Group has good hostel facilities for both boys and girls. KIET Possesses 3 boys hostel & 3 girls hostel. In addition there are 2 off campus hostels for first year students. First year students (boys) reside outside the college campus in hostels to maintain ragging free environment of the college.
• It has the capacity to accommodate 325 students. The college hostels are well built and provide excellent facilities including computer corner with internet & WI-FI connection, 24 hours power backup.
• Recreation facilities like: TV room, billiard room, indoor games and well furnished gyms separately for boys and girls. The hostel messes are run with active cooperation and involvement of the students. Students get high quality, well balanced and nutritious vegetarian meal.
• KIET has students coming from various parts of the country; of which most of them belong to the states of Uttar Pradesh and New Delhi. Day scho lars can avail institute buses running from various corner of Ghaziabad/Meerut.
