Entrance Exams & Admissions : In my experience, which has only been two-semesters, alpha college of engineering is a wonderful place. It has comfortable dorms, beautiful study spaces, delicious food and amazing professors. I am pursuing a BE degree, and I was able to take a wide range of classes that I enjoyed. There are endless opportunities for extracurricular activities. It is however, a stressful environment depending on how many things you decide to take on, in addition to the pressure of going to such a prestigious institution with students that have the same goals of achievement,I have written common enterence test and I got 50k ranking I got electronic and communication seat, typical cut off for my be cource is 60k.

Academics & Faculty : Like many of the newer engineering colleges in Ahmedabad, Alpha College too has a lot of fresher for faculty. Few seniors are there as HODs and they teach only 3rd and 4th-year students. The juniors have communication problems and many can’t even converse in English for more than a minute. Also, some teachers have attitude problems, in spite of not knowing the subjects. The good part about faculties is that they try; they put in their 100% in teaching and are also approachable if you have any doubts.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Although campus of Alpha College of Engineering & Technology is not huge, it is spacious and pleasing to eyes. All the facilities like classrooms, labs and library are up to the mark. There are big playgrounds and other sports facilities too but sadly it is just for show and students are not permitted to use them. Also, there isn’t any internet connectivity, be it Wi-Fi or wired connection.
Clubs & Associations : About 60% of the students are from semi-urban and rural areas around Ahmedabad & Gandhinagar. Also, the majority of the students are very sincere, rather nerdy and absolutely don’t mind the strictness and lack of freedom.
