Entrance Exams & Admissions : In my experience, which has only been two-semesters, alpha college of engineering is a wonderful place. It has comfortable dorms, beautiful study spaces, delicious food and amazing professors. I am pursuing a BE degree, and I was able to take a wide range of classes that I enjoyed. There are endless opportunities for extracurricular activities. It is however, a stressful environment depending on how many things you decide to take on, in addition to the pressure of going to such a prestigious institution with students that have the same goals of achievement,I have written common enterence test and I got 50k ranking I got electronic and communication seat, typical cut off for my be cource is 60k.

Placements & Internships : As per the placement cell concerned our college is having mainly recruitment in CS department.

Academics & Faculty : Class starts at 9:00 am in the morning. In between, there are two breaks. Teachers are well qualified and experienced.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : College infrastructure is very good. Two separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostel feel is INR 60,000 per year. There are many PGs available outside. The PG cost is INR 5000 to 6000 per month.

Placements & Internships : I have not done my internships. Companies like Amazon, IBM, WIPRO etc come for the placements. The average salary package is INR 2.6 lakhs per annum. Alumni network is good.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The student must pass the 12th grade with the good percentage and KCET is the entrance exam to get the admission in this college. The cutoff is around 33,600.

Fees & Scholarships : My course fee is INR 28,000+ CET fees per annum. Scholarships are available for the merit students and Sc/St. Around 50 students get the scholarship. Loans are available if needed.

Academics & Faculty : The daily routine is good. Project, exams, and assignment are good. Quality and method of teaching are poor. Overall experience is poor.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are many hostels in this college. Qualities of classrooms, labs, libraries, dining halls, WiFi, and other key infrastructure is poor.

Clubs & Associations : There is no student society, clubs, and associations in the campus. The main festival is sports and cultural. Life in college is ok.

Placements & Internships : No internships and no placements were offered in 2006. Alumni don’t exist as per my knowledge.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The candidate must clear the KCET exam and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute. The cutoff rank must be below 14,000.

Fees & Scholarships : The fee is INR 11,590 per semester. I didn’t take any loans.

Academics & Faculty : Daily routine involved a lot of travel since it’s way far from urban (Except for Engineering Graphics) Teachers lacked expertise. Only a handful of the team knew their subjects. Most of the staff are bad at teaching.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : We have good hostel facility. Good food in college was unheard. Our classrooms are ok. Libraries lacked enough copies of books.

Clubs & Associations : The college life was horrible.

Academics & Faculty : Like many of the newer engineering colleges in Ahmedabad, Alpha College too has a lot of fresher for faculty. Few seniors are there as HODs and they teach only 3rd and 4th-year students. The juniors have communication problems and many can’t even converse in English for more than a minute. Also, some teachers have attitude problems, in spite of not knowing the subjects. The good part about faculties is that they try; they put in their 100% in teaching and are also approachable if you have any doubts.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Although campus of Alpha College of Engineering & Technology is not huge, it is spacious and pleasing to eyes. All the facilities like classrooms, labs and library are up to the mark. There are big playgrounds and other sports facilities too but sadly it is just for show and students are not permitted to use them. Also, there isn’t any internet connectivity, be it Wi-Fi or wired connection.

Clubs & Associations : About 60% of the students are from semi-urban and rural areas around Ahmedabad & Gandhinagar. Also, the majority of the students are very sincere, rather nerdy and absolutely don’t mind the strictness and lack of freedom.
