AMC Engineering College and Management College was established under the Paramahamsa Foundation Trust and is located in Bannerghatta National park road, Bangalore. It is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), Govt., of India and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University & Bangalore University. Also, courses are accredited by NBA & NAAC. It was established in the year 1984, collaborating with a Californian university in the USA, AMC became one of India’s first private institutions to jointly grant courses with a foreign university.

In 1994 AMC also became the first Private Institution in Karnataka to offer a postgraduate degree in MBA. As of today, AMC offers UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs in engineering, management, and life sciences. AMEC was ranked 29th in the Times Engineering Institute Ranking Survey 2021. AMC institutes operate under its two wings which are AMC Engineering College and AMC Management College.

AMC Eligibility Criteria

Students must meet the minimum eligibility criteria in order to be able to apply for a course at AMC institute. Mentioned below are the eligibility criteria of the major courses offered by the colleges.

AMC BE Eligibility

• The student should have passed 2nd PUC/ 12th standard or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and obtained 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Electronics / Biology.
• For candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes (Category 1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.

AMC MBA Eligibility

• The students should have passed the bachelor's degree with not less than fifty percent (rounding-off aggregate percent is not permitted) of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations.
• For candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ ST and Category I, the aggregate percent of marks of all the years of the qualifying examination shall not be less than forty-five percent (rounding-off aggregate percent is not permitted)

AMC MCA Eligibility

• A candidate must have completed a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Maths/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Program/ Computer Application/ Business Mathematics from any recognized university/ institution.
