Candidates willing to take Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore admissions 2024 should have passed in 10+2 or its equivalent examination with minimum 60% aggregate of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% in each of these three subjects.

• Submit your academic preference (campus + branch) prior to the counselling.

• Register for online counselling after the publication of results.

Applicants should have any of the following, scoring a minimum of 60% with a pass:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology (including the final year students awaiting the results).

• Master’s degree in any branch of Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications.

• Professional Society Examinations recognised by MHRD / UPSC / AICTE equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech / B. Arch.

• Those who don’t belong to the above categories are admitted based on the rank scored in Amrita Graduate Entrance Test 2024.

• Preference for applicants who did good projects in their graduation / masters programme.

• Any Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks, recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (10+2+3 years of education).

• Valid score from CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ XAT.

• Minimum IBT-TOEFL score of 79 or IELTS score of 6.5 with individual category score of 6 or PTE score of 55 with individual category score of 50.

• English Test score is not mandatory at the time of admission, but has to be submitted.

• Those appearing for final year examinations of Bachelor’s degree may also apply, subject to the completion of their examinations and viva-voce.

• Candidates with work experience will have an added advantage for admissions.

M.Sc. Bioinformatics:

Graduation in any discipline of science including Mathematics, Engineering or Medicine. Background in Mathematics or Computer Science is preferred.

M.Sc. Microbiology, M.Sc. Biotechnology:

Graduation in any discipline of Biological Sciences, Engineering[Biotechnology], Medicine or Equivalent [With Background in Biology].

For admissions to postgraduate programs, performance in the following is taken into account:

• Qualifying Undergraduate Examination

• Evaluation at Amrita School of Biotechnology

• Personal Interview at Amrita School of Biotechnology

• Selection is based on academic performance in the qualifying examination and personal interview.

• Moreover, the candidate needs to have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 60% marks.

• Download the application form online through the institution's website and send it to the admission coordinator as mentioned below with the demand draft of Rs.500/- in favor of "Amrita School of Engineering" payable at Coimbatore.

The candidates willing to take admission in ASE Coimbatore should have passed 10+2 in any stream.

Students who are willing to join MA course should have a bachelor's degree in any stream.

• Application submission is online. Payment can be either by way of demand draft or via net banking / debit / credit card by paying an application fee of Rs. 500/-.

• If you are paying by demand draft (DD should be drawn in favour of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, payable at Coimbatore).
