Industrial Training
The curriculum provides extensive industrial training in industrial and business organizations anywhere in the country. The main objective of this training is to expose the students to practical applications of the knowledge acquired by them during the course of Engineering Studies. This also gives students confidence and helps in the all round growth and development in real life. Industry interaction makes studies more pragmatic to real life applications. The college endeavours to provides regular industrial visits to students even during the Engineering Studies to broaden their horizon of knowledge. This is in consonance with 'ACMT' philosophy of interaction with the industry. The Institute prefers that an organization engages its students in specific projects. At the end of the training, the students are confident individuals aware of the implications and future prospects of their stream of specialization.
Seminars & workshops…
Both the institutes conduct seminars and conferences on current topics of interest. There is a board headed by the principal looking after such activities. Inter-class seminars on the topics relevant to their course curriculum as well as for the enhancement of their personality are frequently organized. A calendar of such activities is scheduled per semester. These activities are held every alternate week on Wednesday. By this participatory method of learning, through presentation, the students on one hand, develop confidence to express themselves without any hesitation and at the same time develop in depth knowledge of the topic.
Industrial visits…
Both the institutes arrange industry visits to business and industrial establishments so that students could gain hands-on knowledge for their functioning. There is a board headed by the principal looking after such activities. Students of different branches are sent to respective departments of Industry. The course provides for regular indus¬trial visits of the students in order to broaden their horizon of knowledge and to give them a feel of the practical industrial world where they can under¬stand the production process, shop floor operation, technological implications and other aspects of employee work culture of the organization.
