Meerut Institute of  Engineering and Technology (MIET)  Meerut, was established in the year 1997 by the city educational and social welfare Society. It’s located in  Meerut, Uttar Pradesh India. MIET is having the approval of All India Council for Technical Education and accreditations of National Assessment and Accreditation Council [NACC B++], National Institutional Ranking Framework[NIRF], offer both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses to the students in and around the globe at an affordable rate. MIET is affiliated to Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Technical University.

The academic network they are providing to the students is incomparable with those Self Financed Engineering Colleges in the Northern Side of India. MIT's Important objective is to deliver technical manpower and acceptable human resources for the global job market in the Technological sector, Management sector, computer applications sector too.MIET infrastructure facilities are a top-notch one when it's compared to other private engineering colleges on the northern side of India. MIET Courses

MIET provides a lot of Courses to their students and the Fees of each course vary per the discipline and specialization of each of them. The important courses which are offered by MIET are as mentioned below in the table:

Vocational Courses

MIET provides bachelors in vocational Courses of a time period of 3 years Professional Degree which mainly focused on Practical Knowledge rather than the theoretical one. The syllabus and course curriculum is mainly designed to meet the Industrial requirements and Industrial experiences.

MIET Infrastructure Facilities

The Infrastructure facilities which are provided by MIET is really top-notch one. The pleasant climatic conditions of the campus provide an ideal place for studies with clean and fresh air with a Well maintained library, classrooms, playgrounds, etc. Some of the important facilities of MIET are as follows:

• MIET’s Campus is well known  for their greenery and it spreads 25 acres altogether
• The entire Campus consists of around 1000 trees and a peaceful atmosphere which becomes the ideal place for education with a calm and quiet atmosphere.
• MIET is well equipped with a large library consisting of 34000 books from reputed authors.
• Students can make use of the online resources in the library as nowadays everything is getting digitalized and it will be more convenient for the students.

MIET Eligibility Criteria

Every course has different criteria to be eligible for Admission. MIET eligibility criteria differ in accordance with the respective courses as tabulated below:

MIET Admission Procedure

The Candidate should qualify the previous qualifying examinations before applying for MIET. There will be a separate examination for each of the respective courses. Those students who are willing to take the MIET admission can go for UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University examinations conducted by AKTU (Abdul Kalam Technical University).

MIET Hostel Details

MIET provides a decent Hostel facility to their students with the amount which they are giving to the hostel. The Important facilities provided by Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology(MIET) are listed below:

•  MIET is providing an amazing hostel facilities to their student with 24 generator backups and full Security.
•  Students can spend their leisure time in Hostel by engaging in both indoor and outdoor games.
• MIET Facilities Include two boys hostels for male students and one hostel for female students.
•  RO(Reverse Osmosis) water is available for the students inside the hostel
•  The hostel fee is 65k per year.
