Institute of Management & Computer Studies (IMCOST), was established in the year 2004 in Wagle Industrial Estate, Thane, Maharashtra. Courses Offered by IMCOST

ASM’s IMCOST offers UG, PG and PGDM programs that are in the disciplines of commerce, business management, computer applications etc. B.Com, BMS, MMS, MCA and PGDM are offered at IMCOST. Some of the courses with specializations are mentioned below.

IMCOST Application Form

The application process for ASM’s IMCOST is both online and offline. The candidate should pay the tuition fees according to IMCOST fee structure. He/ She can go to the college personally for the application procedure. The online application procedure is given below in a step by step manner.

• Scorecard of MAH-MCA-CET.
• Certificate and statement of marks of HSC, SSC, and graduation (all years or semesters).
• Provisional and Migration Certificate for students passed from other Universities other than University of Mumbai.
• Certificate of Indian Nationality (Birth Certificate, Valid Indian Passport).
• Domicile Certificate (If applicable).
• Caste Certificate (If applicable).
• Non-Creamy Layer Certificate of validity up to 31st March 2024.
• Certificate in Proforma as applicable as mentioned in DTE brochure (A, B1, B2, F, F1, G1, G2, H, J, K, L, and O).
• 5 passport size recent colour photographs.

• Affidavit for Minority status (Only for linguistic minority students) and gap certificate on a non-judicial stamp paper of INR 100 in institute specified format.
• Valid Physical Fitness Certificate.
• AICTE Anti-Ragging Undertaking by the candidate as well as parents duly notarized in AICTE specified format on a judicial stamp paper of INR 20. 

Entrance Exams Accepted by IMCOST

The admission to Master of Computer Applications course is done through an entrance test called MAH MCA CET (Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test) which is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. The registration for the test can be done online via the MHT-CET website. The registration fee for MAH MCA CET is INR 1000. For SC/ ST/ OBC or candidates belonging to Maharastra, the registration fees is INR 800.

IMCOST PGDM Admission 2024

IMCOST also offers PGDM (postgraduation diploma courses) with specializations in International Finance, Enterprise Management, Logistics Management, Digital Marketing. The eligibility to these coursed is given below. Admission to all PGDM programmes are done through the overall weightage marks from academic performance, marks in the national-level tests, performance in group discussion or interview and participation in extracurricular activities, gender/ academic diversity, sports, etc.  

IMCOST PGDM Eligibility

The student should have completed UG or equivalent course in any field to be eligible for the PGDM courses at IMCOST. Also, candidates must have a valid scorecard in any of all India tests. 

IMCOST UG Admission 2024

IMCOST offers UG courses in B.Com, BMS. B.Com is offered in three specializations, all the courses in the UG are for a duration of three years. The courses are designed to help the candidates become job-ready and acquire skills that are demanded by today’s industries.

IMCOST UG Eligibility

The basic eligibility criteria are that the student should have completed 10+2 (intermediate) from Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with minimum marks percentile. However, 4% in marks criteria have been relaxed for reserved category candidates. To be eligible for BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) admissions, candidate must have passed higher secondary or equivalent with the required marks percentage or Engineering Diploma in any branches with two or three years of four years duration after the S.S.C conducted by the Maharashtra States or equivalent Technical Education Board. Details regarding eligibility and admission criteria are as follows. 

IMCOST PG Admission 2024

IMCOST offers PG courses in Masters in Management Studies (MMS) and Master of Computer Application (MCA). The admissions to these courses are done through Centralized Admission Process which is conducted by DTE  Maharashtra. The duration for MMS is 2 years and 3 years for MCA. The institute provides a seat intake of 120 for MCA programme. 51% of seats are reserved for minority category and 20% is reserved for Institute Level category.

IMCOST PG Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the PG courses are that the student must have completed UG course in any field. To be eligible for IMCOST MMS/ MBA admission, the applicant must be an Indian and must possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum marks percentile. However, 5% in marks have been relaxed for backward class and PwDs (Persons with Disabilities). Candidates seeking admission to MCA at IMCOST must have passed graduation with minimum marks percentile with Maths or Statistics as one of the subjects at higher secondary level. 5% relaxation in marks has been reserved for backward class categories and PwDs candidates of Maharashtra State. Candidates who have studied Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS), Bachelor of Computer Application or B.Sc (Information Technology/ Computer Science) in graduation are exempted from the requirement of having studied Statistics or Mathematics as one of the subjects at higher secondary level. IMCOST Part-Time PG Admission 2024

IMCOST also offers part-time PG courses in the field of business management. The courses which are offered are MMM, MFM, MHRDM, the duration of each course is three years.

IMCOST Part-Time PG Eligibility

UG degree and two years of work experience at the supervisory level are the criteria required for admission into the part-time courses.
