Campus & Location

Axis College of Engineering & Technology is located at the midpoint of Thrissur-Ernakulam road at East Kodaly, near Kodakara. It is approximately 8 km from Kodakara –Thrissur National Highway 47 and is connected by road, rail and air to national and international destinations.

It is only 30 minutes journey from Nedumbassery International Airport, Kochi.


Library

The College management has initiated efforts to make the college ambience more friendly and supportive. A modern Library and Information Centre is on its way to becoming an outstanding learning resource centre catering to the ever growing and uncompromising information and intellectual requirements of the students, faculty and researchers.

In tune with the mission the college has a stacked spacious library accommodating a hoard of books and technical journals both national and international include multimedia kits, micro films and CDs. It consists of more than 8000 volumes of latest books in various branches of Engineering and Sciences. A good number of online Journals can be accessed through ASTM Digital Library and IEEE. The entire library and reading room is well equipped with proper lighting and seating arrangements.

Language Lab

AxisCET Language Laboratory is designed as an aid for students to explore context-free phrase structure grammars for natural language. It helps the student to understand the relationship between grammars, strings and trees, and the notions of syntactic ambiguity and recursion. For an immediate demonstration of what the program does, click the “’Analyze’’ button in the frame to the left. Then try the Generate button. Then go ahead and edit the grammar and/or the input string to your heart's delight!


Transportation

Conveyance is provided for students and staff in all the major routes connecting Thrissur, Irinjalakuda, Aluva, Nattika, Adatt, and Pattikkad.

Additional services will be provided on demand. Staff and student may pay the charge as a lump sum for an academic year or as half yearly.


Canteen

AxisCET ensures homely atmosphere and the aroma of delicious food permeates the air. With the healthiest and the tastiest versions of vegetarian/non-vegetarian nourishments. From a sizzling hot tea to a mouth-watering biryani it proves it all. Idli-vadas, Dosas, Chappathies, Puris, Bondas, Manchurians, Fried rice, meals etc for a hungry tummy, samosas, puffs and confectionery for a munching mouth , ice-creams and cool drinks to cool you and your mates down, after a long day of heating up through various channels . Canteen offers it all, with minimal hole in your pockets. Situated in the campus amidst trees, it totally blends with nature and it’s an awesome place for students to spend some quality time. AxisCET takes pride to serve only delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian disshes for a healthy life.

Hostel

Separate well furnished hostels for girls and boys with facilities conducive to their comfortable studies are available. The men’s hostel is situated outside the AxisCET campus and girls hostel situated in the campus, which serves the warm accommodation and homely food.

College Store

Our Students need not waste their precious time for purchasing stationeries going outside the campus. The college store provides textbooks and other daily need items helpful to their smooth running of day-to-day life.
